The 33-year-old country star dedicated a sweet post to the 29-year-old recording artist on their second anniversary as a couple Tuesday.

"'Oh how I remember well, sunset on September 12th...' #PushingTime #2yearstoday #bamaboy @andersoneast [photo by] @bfluke," she captioned the picture on Instagram.

Lambert's quote hails from the lyrics to her duet "Pushing Time," which she recorded with East for her album The Weight of These Wings. The couple also co-wrote the songs "Getaway Driver" and "Well-Rested."

The former "Nashville Star" finalist confirmed her relationship with East in December 2015 following her divorce from singer and "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton. She recently told Billboard she's "carving her own path" in life and music in the wake of the split.

"I'm not going to try to fit in," the star said of resisting country music conventions. "But I'm not trying to be an outlaw -- I'm just trying to do me. And if that's carving my own path or making my own lane, then I'll do it."

"[I'm] going out to bars and hanging out, and then having nights with girls writing songs on my porch and going to see shows," she added of her return to Nashville, Tenn.

Lambert previously told Cosmopolitan falling in love is "big" and "worth it" when you find the right person. She also said East is a supportive partner and the first person she calls when she's on the verge of a meltdown.
