Cranston, R.I., police say there's nothing illegal about a resident's Christmas display -- 38,000 lights illuminating giant cutouts of Paris Hilton.

In fact, police told Friday's Providence (R.I.) Journal they've only received a couple of complaints since Joe Moretti turned the pink and white lights on Tuesday night.

Moretti, 38, said he's gotten nothing but positive feedback for the display centered around two 8-foot tall photo boards of the scantily clad hotel heiress.

"She's young, she's hot, she's an heiress -- what's not to like?" Moretti said.

"It's all done tongue-in-cheek," he told the newspaper. "It's kitsch, it's just fun."
