Kristin Cavallari has broken her silence since news of a car accident circulated last week.

"Dislocated my elbow last Thursday and not being able to hold my baby is absolutely killing me," Cavallari tweeted with a pouting face on Sunday.

Cavallari reportedly got into a car crash Thursday afternoon when she was hit by another driver in Chicago. The 29-year-old former The Hills and Laguna Beach star was immediately taken to the hospital.

"After everything that has happened lately, the accident really shook her up. She's just thankful that she didn't get hurt," a source previously told People.

Last year brought extreme highs and lows for Cavallari and her husband Jay Cutler, quarterback for the NFL's Chicago Bears. The couple welcomed their daughter Saylor, now two-months old, but Cavallari also tragically lost her brother Michael.

Michael's 2014 Honda Civic was discovered abandoned the day after Thanksgiving on a remote dirt road in Utah with its engine on and the airbag deployed. Following a thorough missing-person search, his body was found dead on December 10.

Cavallari, who additionally competed on ABC's thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars, and Cutler also have a two-year-old son Camden and a 20-month old son Jaxon.
