Khloe Kardashian has threatened The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss with legal action after he apparently tried to generate publicity by claiming she's in talks to be the next star of The Bachelorette.

"I'm not f-cking clickbait right now. Stop or you will be hearing from my lawyers," Khloe tweeted. "How insensitive!!"
Fleiss, 54, first mentioned Khloe may potentially star on the ABC franchise last week, shortly after the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star experienced heartbreak in learning Thompson, 27, had cheated on her with Jordyn Woods, the 21-year-old best friend of Khloe's youngest sister Kylie Jenner.
"I have already been in contact with my dear friend @KrisJenner about @khloekardashian as #TheBachelorette . Stay tuned!!!" Fleiss tweeted on Friday.
Fleiss' claim clearly upset Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian, who bashed him on Twitter by writing, "Fake f**king news big time!!!!"
The Bachelor creator, however, didn't back down. In fact, he insisted Kim was in the dark about negotiations.
"She's out of the loop on this one... #TheBachelorette," Fleiss wrote back. "How would @KimKardashian know??? This is between me and @KrisJenner -- and most importantly @khloekardashian !!!"
Fleiss continued, "As @KimKardashian is obviously aware, this is all about timing for @khloekardashian ! She's been through a lot. Ts and Ps from all of #BachelorNation !"
"FYI... We have strict confidentiality agreements with all #TheBachelorette candidates," he added. "@khloekardashian couldn't tell @KimKardashian anyway..."

Kim then apparently contacted Khloe and her mom to set the record straight. Kim subsequently shared a screenshot of the conversation in which Kris, 63, and her sister both denied being in talks with The Bachelorette.

After Khloe voiced her rage to Fleiss on Saturday, Fleiss attempted to back track a little bit.
"This is about helping people find true love -- nothing more!!! #TheBachelorette," Fleiss tweeted.
"One of the things we look for in choosing #TheBachelorette is a great sense of humor... Might be time to look elsewhere... I sincerely offered our assistance. If a certain someone thinks he/she doesn't need our help to find true love, so be it!!!"
Multiple sources told Us Weekly on Tuesday, February 19, that Woods and Thompson were seen "making out" at a house party in Los Angeles two days earlier.
Khloe reportedly confronted Thompson about the allegation and he admitted it was true, so she decided to break up with the professional basketball player -- with whom she shares 10-month-old daughter True -- after nearly two years together.
Woods then reportedly moved out of Kylie's guest home on Wednesday due to all the tension.

"The family doesn't want anything to do with [Jordyn] right now as the whole incident is too fresh," the insider said. "No one is sure what the future holds for them having Jordyn in their life."
Khloe appeared to address Thompson's cheating scandal through a series of cryptic Instagram posts this past weekend.
"Don't let shame keep you from asking for the support you want. Suffering is done in silence, end it with speaking up. Everyone has a dark chapter. Make your shadows go away by shining light on yours," one quote read.
"Find the encouragement and strength needed to face the sun. Remember clouds are always temporary. Believe it gets better."
And Khloe shared another post that read, "We have to accept that some people are really f--ed up and it's not our job to heal them."

This isn't the first time Thompson has cheated on Khloe, as he allegedly betrayed the reality TV star multiple times just days before she gave birth to True in April 2018. It took Khloe time to forgive Thompson and move on from the indiscretions.
