Although Kat hasn't received a lot of screentime yet, she's about to enjoy a one-on-one date in The Bahamas with Zach.

Fans also probably remember how Kat had exited a limo on Night 1 and sprayed SPF all over herself. She also made her feelings known when Christina Mandrell was rubbing women the wrong way in the house.

According to ABC, Kat "is a vibrant go-getter with a witty sense of humor and a glass-half-full attitude."

Kat also loves spending time with her nieces and nephews and can't wait to have a family of her own. Given Zach cares so much about his family, this pair could be a match made in heaven!

The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer recently teased that Zach's season is "a throwback" and the "most emotional" one he's ever hosted. Jesse also noted how Season 27 will be more "about the love story" and "less about the drama."

Will Kat complete Zach's love story and ultimately win his heart -- and his final rose?

Until viewers can watch Kat and Zach's relationship progress on The Bachelor, let's learn a little bit about this bachelorette right now.

Below is a list of five facts Reality TV World has compiled about Kat Izzo.

Kat applied for The Bachelor 27 after previously being nominated

Kat revealed on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast in early February how she joined Zach's The Bachelor cast "really last minute."

"Dating is hard these days -- all the things. I was over it; I was over [working] the dating field in Tampa, and I was like, 'Let's do something different.' My friends have always recommended I go on The Bachelor because they watch the show, and they said I would be so good," Kat revealed.

"And I was like, 'You know what? Let's just try it out and I'll apply.' I think they had nominated for previous seasons. I don't know if the combination had anything to do with [me being cast], but they called me 10 days later."

Filming, at that point, was going to start in about a month.

"From then on, it was just one thing after another, and honestly, throughout the whole process, I was like, 'There's no way I can do this -- give up my life and stop everything to go on.' But I was just like, 'Let's keep going and see... how much I might want to do this,'" Kat shared.

"And then they ended up saying 'yes' two weeks before I flew out. So I was pretty much on a plane within five to six weeks of the whole process starting, which is pretty crazy because there's a lot that goes into it! And it ended up being a blessing, so I am happy I decided to do that."

Kat works as a clinic registered nurse in Florida

Kat currently works at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. She began her job in July 2021.

Prior to landing her current position, Kat worked as a travel nurse for St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa for five months, at Brandon Regional Hospital in Tampa for four months, and for Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for four months in the COVID unit.

Kat also once worked in Orlando, FL, as a Surgical Transplant Progressive Care Nurse.

She is looking for a real man who will enhance her life and put her first.

Kat said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast in early February, "I want my partner to choose me over everything."

Kat boasts both brains and beauty

Kat went to college at the University of Central Florida and graduated with a BSN in 2019.

She minored in Health Science and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and Knight Thon while attending the university.

Kat made the Presidents List and the Deans List multiple times, and she was also the recipient of a scholarship.

Kat recently opened up about Tahzjuan Hawkins' attempt to steal Zach

On the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast in early February, Kat dished about The Bachelor episode that showed Tahzjuan asking to join Zach's cast of bachelorettes and compete for his heart during a group-date afterparty.

"Honestly, my first thought was, 'Can you come back tomorrow? It's really late in the night, we can have a conversation about this later.' I was just like, 'Ugh, I can't believe this is happening right now,'" Katherine recalled.

"I did say something [along the lines] of, 'This isn't bad bitch energy, this is mean girl energy. This isn't really a way you [should] approach this situation,' or at least I wouldn't."

Kat said that whole ordeal was "really chaotic" and "there was a lot going on."

"[Tahzjuan] wasn't really giving us straightforward answers, almost like she was contradicting herself," Kat claimed.

When Kat started to process what was happening and how Tahzjuan was "approaching" the situation, Kat said, "I was like, 'This just is not a very good display of bad bitch energy, this is kind of mean. You're not being very nice to us.'"

Katherine claimed Tahzjuan was "insulting" in the way she was trying "to build her relationship" with Zach.

"But at the end of the day, I wasn't here to express myself or explain myself. She was basically trying to tell us, I think, 'If you have a problem with it, tell me.' But we were all just like, 'It's not really worth the energy, because I'm not really sure how much of what I'm going to say is going to be processed [correctly],'" Katherine shared.

"Because she was misinterpreting what we were saying... so I was just like, 'It's not worth it.'"

In the end, Zach decided against allowing Tahzjuan join his The Bachelor cast.
