Jordan Rodgers' character is being questioned once again as viewers are watching him cast a spell on The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher.

According to several sources, Rodgers, a 27-year-old former pro quarterback from Chico, CA, appeared on The Bachelorette to achieve fame, advance his career and hopefully become the next The Bachelor star, Us reported.
Ever since Rodgers -- the brother of Green Bay Packers player Aaron Rodgers -- was cut by the Miami Dolphins in 2014, he reportedly set his sights on gaining celebrity status.
"He knew football wasn't going to work out," a Rodgers source told the magazine, "and he wants to be famous desperately."
Rodgers, who currently resides in Nashville and works for a nutrition and lifestyle coaching company, first got a taste of the spotlight when he landed a small acting role as a football player in the movie Pitch Perfect 2.
The experience allegedly inspired Rodgers to branch out into television.
"Originally, Jordan wanted to go on The Bachelorette to become the Bachelor," revealed a Rodgers friend. "That was his goal."
Rodgers has said on numerous occasions he was cast on The Bachelorette at the very last minute, so much so that he knew nothing about Fletcher and didn't even have time to pay his bills before leaving for Los Angeles.
A Rodgers pal told the magazine that the 6'1" bachelor managed to get on the show thanks to an acquaintance who works on The Bachelorette.
"He plotted this," the Rodgers pal told Us.
And producers apparently never suspected Rodgers' heart might not be in it.
"When they were casting him," according to a show insider, "they thought he was there for the right reasons."

"Jordan wasn't stoked when it was Caila. He had no desire to date her," the Rodgers friend insisted. "Jordan was excited when he found out it was JoJo."
The official announcement Fletcher would be the franchise's next leading lady was made in March during After the Final Rose. And once filming began, Rodgers' motive allegedly changed.
"In the beginning, yes, Jordan went on the show for his career," said the friend. "But then it 100 percent switched. He was really into JoJo. He definitely fell in love with her."
While Fletcher seems smitten with Rodgers so far on The Bachelorette, she constantly questions his intent.
"JoJo feels like Jordan is out of her league, for some reason," another show insider told the magazine. "Even though he says he's falling for her, JoJo is concerned that he's not as into her as she is into him."
