The 39-year-old belatedly shared a throwback photo of Cara and Mady, who turned 16 on Oct. 8, following their claims of estrangement.

"Happy 16th Bday to Mady and Cara!!! October 8, 2000 seems forever ago," he captioned the picture.

Gosselin shares Cara and Mady and 12-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah with ex-wife Kate Gosselin.

The twins had admitted in the Sept. 5 issue of People that they purposely avoid their dad.

"He makes it seem like we're being kept from him, which is insane. He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don't want to see him," Mady suggested.

"He doesn't even know us."

Gosselin told "The Steve Harvey Show "in January that Kate keeps him from their eight children.

The DJ claimed at the time that he hadn't seen all of his kids at once "in about three years."

"I see my kids [once] every week ... and then I have them every other weekend," Gosselin told Harvey.

"Most of the time, I get four [at once] ... whoever comes down the driveway, that's who I get."

"I'm not privy to any information," the star said. "I don't know who I'm going to get. We don't co-parent. There's no co-parenting. She parents, I parent. I would love to co-parent, but at this point in time, I don't see it happening."

Gosselin and Kate divorced in 2009 after 10 years of marriage.

The former couple came to fame on the TLC series "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which was renamed "Kate Plus 8" after their split.

The show will return in 2017.
