JoJo Fletcher and Ben Higgins are apparently happy enough in their own relationships to endure a double date.

The Bachelorette couple Fletcher and her fiance Jordan Rodgers were spotted on a double date with The Bachelor couple Higgins and his fiancee Lauren Bushnell at an upscale Japanese restaurant in Hollywood on Thursday, Us Weekly reported.

According to a source, the two couples were filming a scene for Higgins and Bushnell's upcoming Freeform docu-reality series, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After, which premieres in October.

An eyewitness told Us the foursome seemed genuinely happy to eat lunch together and chatted about their different experiences with The Bachelor franchise.

"Ben was saying how happy he was for JoJo that she found in Jordan what he has with Lauren," the eyewitness said.

While reportedly dining on plates of crispy rice and rock shrimp and drinking mimosas, Fletcher and Bushnell -- who grew close on The Bachelor while competing for Higgins -- compared their Neil Lane diamond engagement rings.

There were also toasts to each other's future, Us reported.

Fans wouldn't be quick to assume the gathering of exes was comfortable or felt natural considering Higgins devastated Fletcher at the end of his season. Higgins also fell madly in love with both women, which could not have been easy for Bushnell to deal with either as the woman he hesitantly picked. However, Higgins said the lunch was "fun" and "good."

"It could've been awkward, but we're kind of used to awkward situations," Higgins told TMZ of the double date.

"It was fun. It was good. I'm glad we did it, and it looks like everybody is really happy. I know I've moved on and I'm really excited about my relationship, and I think I know [Fletcher] has as well."

Higgins even gave the new The Bachelorette couple some relationship advice.

He reportedly told Fletcher and Rodgers, "Love each other well. I think through all the craziness and all the busy-ness just continue to listen, to communicate and to enjoy this crazy, little time, post Bachelorette."

As of now, both couples fully intend to get married, so when TMZ asked Higgins if they'll attend each other's weddings, he replied, "I hope so."

Higgins and Bushnell got engaged at the end of The Bachelor's twentieth season, which aired in March. Fletcher's finale of The Bachelorette just aired earlier this week and she can finally pursue her romance with Rodgers in the public eye.
