Ivan Hall is a dark horse in The Bachelorette process, according to the show's sixteenth-season star, Tayshia Adams.

Although Ivan is younger than a lot of the guys in The Bachelorette cast, Tayshia has come to discover he is deep, mature and experienced.
"[He is] really subtle, but he also has a lot of power," Tayshia told the cameras of Ivan's spirit and attitude.
Ivan, being the shy-guy, isn't the type of man that Tayshia typically dates, but she has been drawn to his personality, courage and positive outlook on life. In turn, Ivan had admitted he's smitten with Tayshia's energy and "beautiful soul."
As Ivan says Tayshia brings out the best in him, Tayshia is letting down her walls for Ivan to get to know her better. They've overcome similar struggles in childhood and have bonded over being biracial.

Ivan, who is interested in physical fitness and likes to stay in shape, studied Industrial Engineering and received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2015 from Texas Tech University.Ivan also received his Six Sigma Greenbelt certification in 2015.

ABC says Ivan builds jets for the U.S. military, and it turns out Ivan is the senior software quality engineer at Lockheed Martin.

Ivan says he tried to set a good example for his younger brother growing up but then his little brother took a dark turn and got wrapped up in partying, drugs and drinking.Ivan's brother actually spent four years in prison and his girlfriend welcomed a child shortly before he was incarcerated. Ivan's niece couldn't even touch her father behind bars for a long time, so Ivan says he had to step up and be a second father.
However, Ivan claims his relationship with his brother -- who got released from prison last year -- is still the best thing to ever happen to him and they remain best friends today.
