Jason Castro had cause for celebration this New Year.

"Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams," Castro wrote in a Sunday post to his Twitter account. "It couldn't have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!!:)"
Castro and Mayhall confirmed their engagement in November after he reportedly popped the question on Halloween when the two were dressed as characters from Beauty and the Beast, according to People.
The dreadlocked 22-year-old celebrated his bachelor party early last week.
"Bachelor partayyyy!!! Bowling Poker and pool all in the same room!" he posted to his Twitter account on Tuesday.
Castro finished fourth on American Idol's seventh season in 2008.
He inked a deal with Atlantic Records in April and his "The Love Uncompromised" EP will be released on January 12, followed by a full-length album in the spring. In addition, Castro will begin touring later this month, People reported.
