Emily Maynard is reportedly moving on from reality dating to reality dancing.

"When she signed her contract to be on The Bachelorette, ABC also had her sign on to commit to doing Dancing with the Stars. She loves being in the limelight," a source reportedly told Star, adding that Maynard has known about the gig for six months.
"Emily told me the real reason she wants to do the show is to help get herself her own talk show. She's terrified of losing her fame. She loves being famous and has wanted it her entire life."
According to RadarOnline, Maynard's Dancing with the Stars appearance is part of a larger plan in which she intends to move to Hollywood in pursuit of a full-time entertainment career. Maynard's plans have reportedly upset Rick and Linda Hendrick, the parents of her late fiance Ricky Hendrick and grandparents of Ricki, her seven-year-old daughter.
"Rick and Linda were horrified by the news that Emily wants to move to California. They can't bear the thought of Ricki being that far away from them, she is the one thing that makes the pain of losing their son tolerable. They see so much of Ricky in their granddaughter, they love her to pieces and have become incredibly close to her -- she keeps the memory of Ricky alive," a source told RadarOnline.
"Both Rick and Linda are concerned that Emily is putting her own thirst for fame before the best interests of her daughter, and that as Ricki isn't able to have her father in her life it is even more important for her to be surrounded by close family and that obviously wouldn't be the case if she was moved from North Carolina to California. The issue has caused a huge rift between Emily, Rick and Linda."
Maynard got engaged to Jef Holm at the conclusion of this summer's edition of The Bachelorette but confirmed they had split in October following two months of reports their relationship had been on the rocks.
Although technically single, Maynard has reportedly been dating NASCAR truck racer Jason White. The pair had been spotted on a date early last month. Maynard, 26, and White, 33, allegedly attended Carrie Underwood's concert in her Charlotte, NC hometown on a Saturday night along with some friends.
