Although the special will air on February 24, Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe will actually complete his 200th job during the previous week's February 17 broadcast when he travels to Boise, ID and visits a company that builds and restores locomotives.

While there, Rowe will do everything from cutting raw steel with a plasma burn saw to helping to rebuild a locomotive engine by scrapping away old sludge.

During the special, Rowe will reflect back on some of his experiences during the past 200 jobs, examine Dirty Jobs' evolution, talk about the toughest co-workers he's dealt with, and revisit the show's most memorable and unexpected moments.

Dirty Jobs premiered on Discovery in 2005 and is produced by Pilgrim Film & Television and executive produced by Pilgrim founder Craig Piligian. Its fifth season premiered last month.
