Dancing with the Stars ousted Betsey Johnson and her professional dance partner Tony Dovolani during Monday night's live nineteenth-season broadcast on ABC.

The fashion designer and Tony became the fourth couple eliminated from the competition based on the combination of the Dancing with the Stars judges' scores they had received during last week's performance show and the home viewer votes that were cast immediately after that episode.

"Thank you, thank you, mostly to Tony, to my fans. This has been the best wonderful thing," Betsey said after the results were revealed. "It's just been a trip, a big trip!"

Michael Waltrip, a professional race car driver, and partner Emma Slater were the other couple still in danger of elimination prior to Betsey and Tony's ouster, however, they were not necessarily one of the bottom-two couples based on the judges' scores and America's vote.

Last week, Betsey and Tony had finished in a tie for eighth place with 29 points on the judges' leaderboard after they danced a contemporary routine. Michael and Emma had performed a 28-point worthy waltz, landing in tenth place.

During Monday night's episode, the 10 remaining pairs danced a routine in honor of each celebrity's most memorable year. In addition to regular Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough, this week featured America as the guest judge. Home viewers were allowed to score each dance from 1-10 within two-minute windows, and the average score for each performance was revealed alongside the judges' paddles to count for a fourth score.

Actor and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro and partner Witney Carson topped the judges' leaderboard with a perfect score of 40 out of 40 points. The couple received 10's from each judge, including America, after dancing a jazz routine in memory of Alfonso's six-year history on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air playing the nerdy Carlton Banks.

Actress and Back to the Future star Lea Thompson and partner Artem Chigvintsev finished in second place on the leaderboard with a near-perfect score of 39 points, which included a nine from America. The pair danced a contemporary routine in memory of the year 2003, when Lea's dad was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She had danced with her father for the last time that year.

Third place on the leaderboard went to Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and partner Mark Ballas with a 37-point worthy samba routine. They performed a Duck Dynasty-inspired routine in memory of the year 2012 -- when the show started, became a phenomenon and its stars ignited controversies. Sadie and Mark had received a score of 10 from Julianne and a nine from America.

Actress and Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish and partner Val Chmerkovskiy landed in fourth place on the leaderboard with 36 points after dancing a rumba to the year 2002, when Janel moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles and lost her vocal coach and "second grandmother." America's vote average a nine.

YouTube fashionista Bethany Mota and partner Derek Hough finished in fifth place on the judges' leaderboard with 33 points, which included a nine from America. They performed a rumba in memory of the year 2009, when Bethany overcame being bullied in her past and created her own YouTube channel to find her voice.

Sixth place represented a tie between Betsey and soap opera and General Hospital star Antonio Sabato Jr after both celebrities earned 29 points from the judges with their respective pro partners.

Antonio and partner Cheryl Burke received an eight from America after dancing the samba in memory of 1989, when Antonio landed the lead role in a Janet Jackson music video. His career as an actor took off then after moving to the United States from Italy.

Betsey and Tony danced a jive and earned seven points from America. Betsey wanted to acknowledge the year 1975, when her daughter Lulu was born and she chose to leave an unhealthy relationship that was weighing her down emotionally.

Comedian Tommy Chong and partner Peta Murgatroyd finished in eighth place on the leaderboard after receiving 28 points from the judges, including a score of seven from America. They performed a jive, reminiscing the year 2003 when Tommy went to prison on a charge of transporting drug paraphernalia across the state line. His dance was a celebration of freedom.

Ninth place on the judges' leaderboard went to Michael and Emma with 25 points, including a seven from America. The pair took the stage with a quickstep routine, remembering the year 2001 when Michael won a Daytona race but also lost his good friend Dale Earnhardt in a car crash. Michael had experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows that year.

Actor and Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett and partner Allison Holker landed in tenth -- and last -- place on the leaderboard. The couple earned 24 points from the judges, including a six from America, after dancing the samba. Jonathan wanted to pay tribute to the year 2004, when he was cast on Mean Girls and took both of his parents -- who have passed away in recent years -- to the movie premiere.

The judges' scores and home-viewer votes from Monday night's show will count towards next week's Dancing with the Stars elimination.
