Dancing with the Stars will certainly hear contestants' favorite phrase "from Len the 10" next season.

During Dancing with the Stars' 21st season finale Tuesday night, longtime judge Len Goodman revealed he'll be back for Season 22 of the show next year.

In a quick segment dubbed "A Holiday Message from Len Goodman," he said, "Greetings everyone. Len Goodman here. Now I've been watching the show from the UK and I must say everyone has been doing a fantastic job. Now you finalists, I want you to give it your all in these last [24-Hour Fusion] dances. As for the pros, I've got a mention for you as well. Listen up, Len is coming back next season. And I don't want any of your nonsense."

In closing, Goodman joked with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, "Stop holding that face," before adding in general, "May the best couple win."

DWTS co-host Erin Andrews reacted to the news by saying "that's awesome," while host Tom Bergeron said, "Welcome back, Len. See you in the spring."

Goodman, 71, has served as a Dancing with the Stars judge since the reality dancing competition debuted on ABC in 2005.

Goodman first announced he'd be leaving Dancing with the Stars in December 2014 to focus on living a more normal life.

"I've got my wife, I've got my son, my mother is still alive and she's in hospital -- I've had virtually no time to go and visit her," Goodman, who was said to be exhausted from juggling multiple television projects with his personal life, told People at the time.

Dancing with the Stars executive producer Rob Wade confirmed Goodman's departure in August, citing his schedule as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK and the birth of his new grandson as the reasons.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli served on the judging panel for the show's latest edition.
