Dancing with the Stars judges' leaderboard was topped by Ricki Lake and Derek Hough again during Monday night's broadcast of the thirteenth season's third performance show, which featured the Top 10 finalists telling the stories of the most memorable year of their lives through dance.

The former talk show host and her professional partner finished in first place on the leaderboard for the second time in a row after they performed a rumba which received 27 out of 30 possible points from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Lake and Hough's rumba represented last year, when Lake found love again with her current boyfriend after her house burned down in a fire and she went through a divorce.

Transgender advocate Chaz Bono and partner Lacey Schwimmer finished at the bottom of the leaderboard in tenth place with 18 points after they performed a rumba routine -- which represented the current year because Bono said he's never been happier -- that wasn't nearly as well received by the judges.

Singer and actress Chynna Phillips and Iraqi war veteran and All My Children soap star J.R. Martinez finished tied for second place on the leaderboard with their partners after they each received 26 points from the judges for their rumba routines.

Phillips and partner Tony Dovolani told the story of the year 1990 when her Wilson Phillips band's "Hold On" song was released and she was struggling with depression and anxiety, while Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff expressed how Martinez had overcome depression and recovered after being injured in Iraq in 2003 from driving over a landmine.

Fourth place also represented a tie between four couples: Keeping Up with the Kardashians sibling Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke, former The Hills star Kristin Cavallari and partner Mark Ballas, American women's soccer star Hope Solo and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and actor David Arquette and partner Kym Johnson. All four couples earned 24 points from the judges.

Kardashian and Burke danced a foxtrot which represented the year 2003 when Kardashian's father died of esophageal cancer, while Cavallari and Ballas performed a samba routine which reflected the year 2005 when Cavallari graduated from high school and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an entertainment career.

Solo and Chmerkovskiy performed a cha cha routine which symbolized this current year because of the World Cup and her journey as a female athlete, while Arquette and Johnson danced a rumba which represented how his daughter impacted his life for the better following his split from ex-wife Courtney Cox.

Fashion expert and former Queer Eye star Carson Kressley finished one point behind them in eighth place with partner Anna Trebunskaya after they received 23 points for their tango, which represented the year 2003 when Queer Eye premiered and Kressley began to feel comfortable in his own skin.

Legal commentator Nancy Grace and partner Tristan MacManus finished in ninth place on the judges' leaderboard after they performed a waltz routine, which represented the year 2007 when Grace got married and had her twins prematurely due to complications, that earned them 21 points.

The judges' scoring and home viewer votes that were cast after Monday night's performances will now be combined and one of the 10 celebrity and professional pairings will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars' third thirteenth-season results show tonight at 9PM ET/PT.
