ABC has announced Dancing with the Stars' 27th season and Dancing with the Stars: Junior's debut season will both air in Fall 2018, just on different nights.

Dancing with the Stars will continue to air in its regular timeslot of Monday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT on ABC.

Meanwhile, Dancing with the Stars: Juniors will air on Sunday nights from 8-9PM ET/PT on the network.

Fall premiere dates for both series will be announced at a later date.

ABC announced it had ordered Dancing with the Stars: Juniors back in Spring 2017, seemingly following in the footsteps of shows such as MasterChef Junior and So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation by adding an edition starring children.

Dancing with the Stars: Juniors will pair celebrity kids with professional junior ballroom dancers to perform choreographed routines in front of a judging panel that will include renowned ballroom experts.

The experts who will serve as judges on the Juniors spinoff have yet to be revealed.

ABC has called Dancing with the Stars: Juniors "a fresh take on an established favorite" reality dancing competition.

As for the original Dancing with the Stars series, the show is currently airing its four-week, all-athletes edition on the network.

The Season 26 finale of Dancing with the Stars will air next week and feature a champion being crowned.

The celebrity and professional pairings still in the running for the trophy are NFL star Josh Norman and pro partner Sharna Burgess, disgraced former Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding and partner Sasha Farber, and Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon and partner Jenna Johnson.
