Corey Feldman has slammed Dancing with the Stars behind-the-scenes environment, alleging a toxic culture of "mudslinging" and drama that he said shocked him during his brief time on the show.

"Actually there, everything was great. But the behind-the-scenes drama and BS that people throw around that show, I've never seen anything like it. It's the worst, like, most toxic."

The 54-year-old Goonies star was paired with pro dancer Jenna Johnson and was eliminated during Week 2's double elimination after performing a cha-cha to Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back."
On-Set Experience vs. Outside Drama
Feldman clarified that his experience actually filming the show was positive, distinguishing between the on-set environment and the external commentary surrounding the competition."On the set everybody gets along," he told the radio show. "Everybody's great. Everybody's happy. You're working hard. You don't even have time to look up. You're just working."
However, Feldman took issue with the public commentary and rumors that circulated about his time on the show, particularly targeting former Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is Johnson's brother-in-law.
"But then it's like you start reading these things in the paper, like, 'this person's mad at this person. These people aren't talking to each other.' Or 'are people working hard enough?' 'Corey Feldman destroyed the show. He destroyed the whole show because he was such an egomaniac it's so difficult to work with,'" Feldman recounted on the radio show, according to the Daily Mail.
Feldman's Account of Johnson's Response
Feldman alleged that when he asked Johnson about the negative reports, she dismissed them as coming from Chmerkovskiy."And then you're like, where is this coming from? And I asked Jen, I'm like, where is this coming from? She's like, oh, it's just Maks. She rolls her eyes. She's like, 'oh it's just Maks. Don't pay attention to him. He just wants attention.' I was like oh my God," Feldman said, according to both outlets.
Earlier in the season, Chmerkovskiy had told the Daily Mail that Johnson was having "a really difficult time" being paired with Feldman.
"Obviously, Jenna has a bit of an uphill climb with Corey, which is easy for everybody to say from [outside], but I know that she's having a much more difficult time with this entire thing and to the point that it is really difficult for her," Chmerkovskiy said at the time.

"And so, I wish her all the best. We're here. Obviously, we're all together if you need to be, but you're talking about a reigning champ, so put some respect on the name, everybody."
Feldman's Clarification
In a statement to People on Saturday, Feldman clarified his comments, emphasizing that his experience on the show itself was positive."I want to make it absolutely clear that my experience on Dancing with the Stars has been positive. Everyone associated with the show — from my fellow cast members to the pros, crew and production team — has treated me with nothing but kindness, support and respect," Feldman said.
"The issues I was referring to have nothing to do with the show itself," he continued. "They relate to the outside commentary, rumors and individuals who are no longer directly involved with DWTS but still feel entitled to weigh in and create unnecessary drama."
Feldman added: "I'm looking forward to getting back to rehearsals this week and can't wait to dance with Jenna again. The DWTS family has been wonderful, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of it."
Returning for the Finale
Feldman is set to return for Tuesday night's finale, which will see Jordan Chiles, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Elaine Hendrix, and Robert Irwin compete for the coveted Mirrorball trophy. When asked if he was excited about his return, Feldman was blunt. "No. No," he told the radio show, according to the Daily Mail.
On Instagram in September, Johnson praised her partnership with Feldman despite their early elimination.

"Thank you for the giggles everyday in rehearsal, thank you for the hard work, and thank you for sharing your life lessons and memories with me! I'll cherish our friendship forever. Never stop dancing."

In the comments, Feldman responded positively to his former partner.
"Thank U Jenna! U were an absolute joy to work with," Feldman wrote.
"Im so sorry for any negativity the media is using to give the false narrative that our time together was anything less than enjoyable."
