Colton Underwood has apparently returned to the United States after wrapping production on The Bachelor's 23rd season.

Colton's search for love and a future wife on The Bachelor began on September 21, when filming commenced in Los Angeles, CA.

And now, barring an Arie Luyendyk-like change-of-heart, Colton's journey appears to be over and he has returned from the exotic overseas destination where his final Rose Ceremony taped.

"Spoiler alert: I'm back," Colton captioned a photo of his smiling self Saturday on Instagram.

And then on Sunday, Colton posted a selfie with his dog and wrote alongside it, "Enjoying some Sunday football with my old man today."

According to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, the final Rose Ceremony filmed November 15 in Mallorca, Spain.

Viewers will find out whether Colton proposed marriage that day and left the show with a fiancee next year, as The Bachelor's 23rd season premieres Monday, January 7 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

The Bachelor's executive producer, Mike Fleiss, teased in September on Twitter the 26-year-old charity founder and former professional football player's group of bachelorettes this season will be the "greatest cast of women -- ever!"

Colton, a self-declared virgin with little dating experience, has had fans questioning whether he's truly ready to settle down and get married -- or even if he really knows what he wants in a partner.

After failing to find mutual love with Becca Kufrin on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season, Colton appeared on Bachelor in Paradise this past summer and dumped a woman he really cared about, Tia Booth.

But when Colton was announced as The Bachelor star on Good Morning America in early September, he insisted he's "absolutely ready" to get down on one knee and can't wait to become a husband.
