Along with the message was a video of Tia Booth, whom Colton briefly dated before Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor began airing on ABC. Tia and Colton kissed and spent a weekend together, but they called it quits due to bad timing.
As shown on The Bachelorette this week, Tia admitted to Becca that she still had feelings for Colton, and so Becca ousted Colton in fourth place despite meeting his family and learning he was in love with her.
"There are still feelings there, but I don't know if he has them for me," Tia said in the Twitter video.
Bachelor in Paradise's page then retweeted the same post about Colton and Tia, a physical therapist from Arkansas.
"Damn y'all couldn't wait until the limo took me to the airport to announce this?" Colton tweeted last night.
Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone leaked Colton's Bachelor in Paradise participation last month by revealing he was actually spotted on a date with Tia in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, while cameras were rolling.
"I will forever cherish my relationships & time on the bachelorette. I learned that's it's okay to be different and to be unapologetically yourself. Thank you Becca for allowing me grow as a person," Colton additionally tweeted on Monday night.
Most of the Paradise cast had already been announced late last month, around the time ABC disclosed the new season will premiere with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, August 7 at 8PM ET/PT.
