Celebrity Big Brother featured the Head of Household, Miesha Tate, nominating Mirai Nagasu and Carson Kressley for eviction as well as Cynthia Bailey receiving "The Gala Gift" advantage during the Season 3 episode that aired Thursday night on CBS.

Miesha, a former UFC champion, decided to put Mirai, an Olympic medalist, and Carson, a designer and former Queer Eye star, on the chopping block -- with Mirai as her apparent target and Carson as a pawn -- heading into the season's first eviction.

The Celebrity Big Brother broadcast began with Miesha saying that although she entered the game wanting to lay low at first, the athlete in her couldn't help but fight hard and win the first Head of Household competition.

On the first day in the house Carson, singer and rapper Todrick Hall, actress and former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, and Cynthia, a model and former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, had formed an alliance, and now it was Miesha's turn to build an alliance and figure out whom she'd like to work with going forward.

Miesha told Todrick that she'd like to work with fellow physical threats and athletes in the game, so she told him it would be ideal to rope former NBA champion Lamar Odom in with them. She and Todrick also agreed to a Final 2 deal.

Lamar gave Todrick a fist-bump and agreed to Miesha's alliance.

Afterward, former N'SYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick asked Todrick -- with whom he shares mutual friends -- to team up with him. Chris Kirkpatrick noted how they work in the same entertainment industry and Todrick seemed to be trustworthy, and so Todrick was definitely onboard.

Todrick then walked into the bathroom and Mirai, who was showering at the time, asked Todrick and actress and former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp to work with them. Todrick couldn't believe how popular he was in the house right off the bat.

Mirai also asked Cynthia to join the alliance and hoped to find two more interested people. Cynthia said she was already working with Todrick, Carson, and Shanna, and so Mirai suggested maybe she and Teddi could join that pre-existing alliance.

"I think the more the merrier," Cynthia said.

Mirai said if they all banded together, they'd have six people and the majority in the house. Cynthia was also surprised people were trying to pull her in so early in the game.

Teddi told the cameras that she "felt good" with these people, and the game was already afoot in less than 24 hours.

The only two people Todrick wasn't in an alliance with were comedian Chris Kattan and actor Todd Bridges, who were both apparently sleeping a lot.

The big alliance in the house was therefore comprised of Carson, Todrick, Cynthia, Shanna, Mirai and Teddi and they called themselves "Formation."

Todrick, however, wasn't sure how he was going to juggle all these allies at once. He seemed a little over his head.

Suddenly, in the middle of the night, Chris Kattan and Mirai woke up to the alarming sounds of Todd snoring. While they didn't hold it against him, they weren't pleased.

The next day, Todd and Lamar became buddy-buddy and Lamar admitted, "I was hoping my ex-wife was in here. I want to see [Khloe Kardashian] so bad, bro. I would feel complete if she gave me another shot."

Lamar said it haunted him that he never honored his marriage vows to Khloe and it was therapeutic to talk about it with his fellow houseguests.

"I do miss her and her family dearly. Even just to the family, I'm sorry I let them down. They had so much faith in me and gave me my own nickname, Lammy. I would do anything to make it up," Lamar shared in a confessional.

Lamar said he thought Khloe is The One and they had wed only 30 days after meeting each other.

"I was really looking forward to having children with her," Lamar noted.

Shanna noticed Lamar has a good heart and he seemingly wants to learn and grow and become a better man.

Later on, Chris Kirkpatrick promised to have Miesha's back, and so she welcomed him into her alliance with Todd. Chris Kirkpatrick recommended during a chat with Miesha and Todd that Miesha should nominate players who didn't seem interest in really playing the game, such as Chris Kattan.

Miesha thought about nominating Todd and Chris Kattan together, but then she confessed how she'd like to see Teddi go home.

"She knows enough about the game because she says things about the game," Chris Kirkpatrick noted.

"And I think she has potential to do well in this game, like, win," Miesha announced. "She's kind of that balance of a pretty decent threat but also smart and a strategist and most likely to backdoor me."

Both Todrick and Chris Kirkpatrick agreed Teddi was a threat, and so Miesha determined Teddi may be her "perfect target."

It then became time for the celebrities to gather in the living room, and "The Gala Gift" in the blue box was revealed. The gift came with a blessing and a curse, and it was apparently a ridiculous costume that would also come with safety from the first eviction of the season.

Inside "The Gala Gift" was a big black En Vogue hat in the shape of a handbag or purse. The houseguests had to pass the hat from one houseguest to the next, and the final recipient of the hat would be able to keep it.

The winner of the hat must wear it all week, but everyone wanted it since it meant safety.

Miesha told the cameras how Teddi couldn't end up with the hat. Miesha then passed the hat to Chris Kirkpatrick, who gave it to Chris Kattan, who then handed the hat over to Todd.

"I gave... the purse to Todd because I don't like him," Chris Kattan joked. "That's not true. I gave it to Todd because he snores at night."

Todd passed the hat to Teddi, who then gave it to Lamar. The hat proceeded to move in the following order: Carson, Todrick, and Mirai.

Mirai had to choose between Shanna and Cynthia, and she ultimately decided to give it to Shanna and keep Cynthia safe for the week. Cynthia could not be nominated or evicted.

Miesha then read a note from Celebrity Big Brother host Julie Chen that read the hat also came with a curse and even if a player doesn't get nominated, he or she could still be in danger of going home -- which "shook" everyone, according to Carson.

Teddi had a feeling she was a target, and then Miesha told Mirai they should stick together as strong athletes. Miesha revealed how she was working with Todrick, Lamar and Chris Kirkpatrick.

Miesha shared how she'd like to nominate Todd and Chris Kattan initially with the hope of backdooring Teddi later in the week.

"I think she knows more about the game than she's letting on and also is the biggest threat outside of our alliance," Miesha explained, adding how their alliance needed to keep control of the Power of Veto.

Miesha asked Mirai how she would feel about going on the chopping block as a pawn so she could hopefully win the PoV and then use it so they could put Teddi on the block after her.

Mirai told the cameras that she didn't want to be a pawn and she also didn't want to see Teddi go. Mirai said she'd think about it and planned to "fake it 'till you make it."

Mirai subsequently warned Teddi that Miesha was targeting her, and Teddi replied, "Yeah, I knew she was... She's thinking about backdooring you because you are a threat."

When Teddi told Todrick what was happening, Todrick said it was way too early to be spilling secrets, especially when the secret derived from the Head of Household.

"The fact she was willing to rat on Miesha, who is the current HoH, means that she would do the same thing to me. I have to go tell Miesha this! Mirai, this is not a good move, darling -- not a good move," Todrick said.

Todrick proceeded to tell Miesha, "a beast," about Mirai having gone behind her back. Miesha couldn't believe Mirai had already betrayed her and spilled the beans, and so she said she needed to come up with an entirely new gameplan.

Teddi then offered Miesha a deal by saying, "If you don't put me up, I won't put you up the next time. I give you my word... If you do that, we have a couple of weeks, and then we can see and have another conversation."

Miesha found the deal interesting, and she said loyalty and honesty are big factors for her in the game. She felt Teddi was telling the truth, and so she definitely considered taking the deal.

Miesha then told Carson that he'd be going on the block as a pawn but he would be fine because everyone loved him and no one would vote for him.

Carson nodded and smiled, but he was freaking out in the back of his mind.

"Don't sweat it! You've got this, and I don't want you to go home," Miesha assured Carson. "It might be interesting who I target, but I promise you there is a reason."

At the first Nomination Ceremony of Celebrity Big Brother's third season, Miesha, as the HoH, announced she had decided to nominate Mirai and Carson for eviction.

Miesha called Mirai "a fierce competitor" and said she respected the Olympian's ability to play this game. She also shared how Carson has "an amazing social game" and she also respected his ability to play this game.

Mirai felt "overwhelmed" and began panicking on the inside, but she was prepared to fight.

Meanwhile, Carson said he was not shocked or shaken, although he's a little nervous by nature.

Teddi's jaw dropped by the nominations, and she just hoped Miesha was being honest with her.

"What the f-ck?! That was unexpected. It makes no sense... That was very weird and felt like, 'Okay, there is a game going on,'" Chris Kattan noted.
