"She's getting better," Shelton told "Entertainment Tonight" on Monday about his girlfriend and fellow "The Voice" coach.

"Something like that is just slow, when you pop-blow your eardrum out, I don't even know how that happens. But she says she can hear now," Shelton said.

The country singer said Stefani will be able to appear on Tuesday's episode of "The Voice."

"She's tough," he said.

The 47-year-old's injury occurred last week during a flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

Stefani was forced to cancel a performance at a fundraiser. Singer Jennifer Hudson took the stage in her place.
