Ava said she didn't think Keanu Soto, Vince Panaro and Zach Cornell trusted her, and she also thought they were big players and would therefore make great targets.

Keanu and Zach were pissed about being on the chopping block, but Rachel Reilly said she was thrilled and Cliffton "Will" Williams commended Ava on making a big move.

"I had a hand in nominating Zach, and I hope no smoke comes my way," Will told the cameras in the Big Brother Diary Room.

But on Night 1, Zach had won a power called the "BB Buyout." He could use it at the Veto Meeting to take himself off the block; however, he said there was "no way in hell" he was going to give Ava his $10,000 prize after she had blindsided him.

Mickey Lee admitted she wasn't happy Vinny and Zach were on the block but at least it wasn't her girl Ashley Hollis.

Morgan Pope, on the other hand, was very upset the two members of their "Melting Pot" alliance were in jeopardy of going home, and she wondered why Mickey was so cool, calm and collected.

Zach, just like Morgan, thought the situation was "suspicious" because Ava had pulled Mickey aside for a one-on-one chat right after she was crowned Head of Household.

"Something is not adding up," Zach complained in a confessional.

Keanu then approached Ava and let her know that he understood why she had nominated him. Keanu explained how this was his punishment for being involved in drama early on, and Ava realized in that moment that maybe she could work with Keanu going forward.

Ava shared with the Big Brother cameras how Vince was her main target because he had his hands in too many pots and also had a great social game that she wanted to crush. And that was no secret to Vince, who became laser-focused to win the Power of Veto.

Since Mickey knew Morgan was gunning for Ava, Mickey tried to reassure Ava that she was not part of that plan. However, in doing so, Ava grew angry at Morgan and immediately considered her as a potential replacement nominee.

Mickey told the cameras she had never meant to put her ally, Morgan, in the crosshairs.

Meanwhile, Keanu didn't want to see Vince leave the house, and so Keanu actually told Vince that if he won the Veto, he'd use it to save Vince and then hopefully win the "BB Blockbuster to save himself.

"That would be legendary," Keanu boasted to his pal.

It then became time to pick players for the Power of Veto competition. In addition to the HoH and the three nominees, Will and Katherine were both selected by random draw to compete.

Morgan was bummed out that she couldn't play because she was going to remain vulnerable, but she definitely had Zach in her camp. Mickey also hoped nominations would stay the same so that Ava wouldn't have an opportunity to nominate Morgan.

"I'm not afraid to do that. I already lit a fire this week, and so I'm just going to start roasting marshmallows," Ava told the Big Brother cameras of going after Morgan.

For the Power of Veto competition dubbed "Elusive Target," the participating houseguests, dressed up like detectives, were required to mark evidence at various crime scenes.

The competition was essentially a game of shuffleboard, with the disc sliding across evidence with numbers on them that would appear and then disappear.

The players had to try to remember where the highest numbers were and aim their disc in that direction. When a disc landed on a number, that would represent that player's score.

The competition played out through a series of rounds. Once a player was eliminated after a round, he or she could choose a briefcase with a mystery prize or punishment inside.

But each subsequent eliminee could choose to keep a new briefcase or trade it with one of the previously-opened suitcases.

One of briefcases contained the Power of Veto, and so the winner of the competition would be able to secure it without a problem.

Will was eliminated after Round 1 and he won the Golden Power of Veto. He knew it was going to be taken from him and that he'd probably get stuck with a punishment.

Keanu lost Round 2, and it marked the first time he had lost the Veto competition in three weeks. Keanu won "Partners in Crime" in which he could choose a partner to steal $100,000 in the middle of the night from the BB Bank.

After Round 3, Zach won a London vacation. Zach was pretty sure he wasn't going to get the Veto and that a vacation would put a target on his back.

Zach therefore gifted Will the vacation so he could travel with his wife for pleasure and not his military duties, and the gesture brought most of the houseguests to tears. Will also decided in that moment that he wasn't going to target Zach this week. (Zach later asked Rachel to be his partner in crime).

Ava was out next, and her prize was "The Butt-ler Did it." She was going to spend an entire week dressed like a Butt-ler, serving her fellow houseguests.

However, Ava traded the punishment for Keanu's Golden Power of Veto.

After the final round, Vince won $5,000 and traded for Ava's Golden Power of Veto. As the winner of the competition, Katherine won a punishment in which she'd have to dress up as "The Hard Boiled Detective."

Vince begged Katherine not to take his Power of Veto because he was in trouble, but Katherine did anyways and gave him the punishment.

"I needed to do this to prove I'm a competitor in this game," Katherine explained to the Big Brother cameras.

And Ava gushed about how she was so proud of Katherine for having a backbone and taking that Veto away from Vince. Vince, on the other hand, felt totally deflated and defeated.

After the competition, Ava considered trying to convince Katherine to take Zach off the block because he had done such a nice thing for Will.

After footage aired of several houseguests living out their punishments, Ashley warned Rachel that Morgan and Mickey's group didn't want to see her make it far in the game. Rachel was really pissed off and called the group "delusional."

Morgan, who hadn't spoken to Rachel much, attempted to see where she was at. Rachel confronted Morgan about what she had heard, and Morgan couldn't deny that she had said she wanted Rachel to be in the jury.

"I am tired of the disrespect... The fire has not even come out, so you can tell your friends that," Rachel told Morgan.

Morgan claimed Rachel had misunderstood her but this conversation put a new target on her back.

For Rachel's part, she warned Katherine that Morgan had said she wanted to break up the showmance in the house. Katherine and Rylie Jeffries were the showmance, and so this made the wheels turn in Katherine's mind.

It then became time for the Veto Meeting.
