"I can't believe it! I'm in shock right now!" Ashley gushed following her victory.

Vince, a 34-year-old who is unemployed from West Hills, CA, won $75,000 for finishing in second place.

"It's more money than I've ever made in my life, so I'll take it!" Vince quipped.

Morgan Pope, a 33-year-old gamer from Palm Springs, CA, finished Big Brother in third place.

Ava Pearl, Keanu Soto, Kelley Jorgensen, Lauren Domingue, Rachel Reilly, and Cliffton "Will" Williams all voted for Ashley to win, while Morgan voted for Vince to win.

The Top 3 votegetters for "America's Favorite Houseguest" this season were Rachel, Keanu and Will. After millions of votes were cast, the winner, with more than 65% of the vote, was Keanu, who won $50,000 as a result.

The Big Brother finale began on Day 83 in the Big Brother house with the Final 3 houseguests each hoping to make the Final 2.

"In a historic 27th season, we saw 43 competitions, 13 evictions and one unprecedented elimination at the hands of a Mastermind," Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves announced.

Ashley said her only way to the end would be by winning because Vince and Morgan were such a strong duo who were probably going to stick together.

In a flashback to Day 80, the three houseguests were participating in Part 1 of the final Head of Household competition. It was an endurance competition similar to the iconic Wall Comp except each player was also twisted and spun around, making them feel sick.

After 28 minutes, Ashley dropped out of the competition first, and then she was followed by Vince after about 35 minutes.

Morgan therefore won Part 1 of the final HoH competition and would automatically advance to Part 3. That meant Vince and Ashley would have to compete head to head in Part 2.

For Part 2 of the competition dubbed "Unmask the Mastermind," Big Brother 16 alum Frankie Grande served as the host.

Vince and Morgan were required to destroy the Mastermind's billboards throughout BB City to expose his true identity. The players had to fly down a zipline, attempting to knock down three Mastermind billboards on the roof.

Vince and Morgan then had to put together a puzzle with blocks revealing the faces of six previously-eliminated Big Brother houseguests. After decoding the puzzle, a password would be revealed.

The first houseguest to enter the correct password and hit their button would win Part 2 of the competition and reveal the BB Mastermind's identity.

Ashley ended up defeating Vince in Part 2 of the competition.

It was later revealed that Frankie and fellow Big Brother alums Jessie Godderz and Eric Stein were all the "BB Mastermind" after they had been evicted from their respective seasons due to twists in the game.

For Part 3 of the final HoH competition dubbed "Perjury Duty," Morgan and Ashley were instructed to watch videos of interviews with the jury. A jury member made three statements about their game, and one of those statements was false.

Ashley and Morgan were required to identify the false statement. For every correct answer, they'd receive one point. The woman with the most points after six videos would become the Final HoH of the season.

Ashley won Part 3 of the final HoH competition with four points, automatically securing herself a spot in the Final 2 and at least $75,000.

Ashley ended up evicting Morgan from the game in third place.

"I love both of you very much. You two have both played amazing games -- both very different games. I've gone back and forth on my decision, and I honestly, quite frankly, didn't think I'd have to be making one -- so I didn't think that hard about it because I thought Morgan would win!" Ashley announced.

"Morgan, you are my best friend in this house. I hope that we stay friends for life. I don't know if I can beat you in a Final 2, and I think it might be a toss-up with Vinny. I'm so sorry but I have to evict you, Morgan."

Once Morgan left the house, Ashley admitted to Vince that she felt guilty because Morgan was probably going to take her to the end.

When Morgan sat down with Julie, she shared how she had played "one hell of a game" and so she predicted Ashley was going to take Vince to the Final 2.

"Honestly, if I were her, I would've made the same move," Morgan said.

"What a faceoff to go against the person who put you on the block first week in the end. Am I disappointed? Of course. Of course I wanted to sit in the finals. But I don't blame her, and I love her."

Morgan also confirmed that, had she won the final HoH competition, she would've taken Ashley to the Final 2 because Vince had played an "incredible" game.

In addition, Morgan called Vince her "best friend" when asked about the pair's dynamic in the house.

Ashley and Vince then faced a jury of their peers, who had some questions to ask the Final 2 houseguests.

Keanu declared that Vince had played "an emotionally manipulative game" that led to horrible jury management, and so he asked Vince if he could justify those decisions as gameplay.

Vince claimed he's an emotional and passionate person who never intended to be manipulative. Vince said he was authentically himself in the house and he never did anything unethical.

"I just wanted to play the game with self-preservation above anything else, and I just thought that any move I made was for myself because this game is designed to outplay the other houseguests before they get you," Vince explained.

Vince apologized for hurting anyone, but he owned his cutthroat moves. He also insisted that all of his crying was sincere.

Ashley was asked to list her strategic game moves that would explain why she would deserve to be a Big Brother winner. Ashley said she was able to adapt throughout the game.

"As soon as an ally left, I was able to reposition myself time and time again," Ashley shared, adding how she helped to birth "The Judges" alliance by pushing Rachel and Will to save Morgan and align with her and Vince.

"Not only did I have protection from The Judges, but I also had protection from players like Keanu and Ava."

Vince then argued that he had made decisions for himself in the game that weren't controlled by Morgan.

"Morgan and I were a duo in the game. We were a known duo. We were going to play together. So a lot of my moves that were best for myself just also happened to be good for her game as well. But at the end of the day, they were for me," Vince explained.

Ashley then boasted about how she played an honest and loyal game all the while sticking to strategy.

"To me, a Big Brother winner is someone who turns their enemies into allies -- not their allies into enemies, which the counterpart next to me did," Ashley said.

Morgan then asked Vince to reveal the strongest part of his game, and he replied, "My social game because I won the Week 1 HoH and I won the Week 12 HoH and I won two more in between. I caused a lot of damage, and I needed to do a lot of damage control. I was able to get people to trust me, even after I burned them."

Vince said he thought he was still on good terms with mostly everyone, but Kelley was shown laughing as he spoke.

In her final pitch to win, Morgan reminded the jury how she was the biggest target in the house at the start of the game. Morgan said she didn't let that stop her and so she took herself off the block by winning the very first Power of Veto, which changed the trajectory of her game.

"I remained targetless week after week and didn't go up on the block for nine weeks as an original nominee -- and that was strategy," Ashley insisted.

Ashley compared herself to Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, saying she allowed her houseguests to think they were manipulated and controlling her when, in actuality, she was playing the game from the second she walked into the house. Ashley revealed her job as an attorney and said she played the best strategic and social game.

Vince laughed about how he was still unemployed and had done everything he possibly could to make it as far as he possibly could in the Big Brother game.

Vince said he proved a lot to himself. Although he entered the house with very little confidence, he ended up winning four HoH competitions.

"I made 14 nominations this season. I nominated nine of our 17 houseguests for eviction. Over half of the cast was put on the block by me alone," Vince said.

"That means I had to make my game revolve around damage control and being on as good terms with as many people as I possibly could... I couldn't hide behind closed doors. I was strategizing in broad daylight."

Vince also reminded the jury how he had saved himself from the chopping block multiple times and put his blood, sweat and tears into this game.
