The 19-year-old American model attended the premiere of "La fille inconnue" ("The Unknown Girl") at the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival, where the film is competing for the Palme D'or.

Hadid stunned in a barely-there, red Alexandre Vauthier dress with a plunging neckline and a sky-high slit.

The model, who protected her modesty with underwear in a matching color, was able to avoid any serious wardrobe malfunctions.

The revealing look dominated fashion headlines out of Cannes and drew praise from Hadid's mom, Yolanda Foster.

The 52-year-old "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star declared herself a "#ProudMommy" on Instagram.

Hadid is the daughter of Foster and Jordanian-American real estate developer Mohamed Hadid and the sister of 21-year-old model Gigi Hadid, who was not present at the festival.

She signed to IMG Models in 2014.

"I would like to act, eventually," Hadid revealed to Elle this week. "But I don't want to do half-and-half. When I'm working for something, I'm very focused, and I put in a lot of hard work and a lot of training."

"I want to give 100 percent to modeling for as long as it takes, and then when I feel that it's time to move on, I'd very much like to try acting," she added. "And I think I would like to be an actress ... I'd like to see if I'm any good."

Hadid has walked the runway for Balmain, Givenchy and Chanel and appeared in Teen Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and W magazine.

The model, who is dating The Weeknd, also starred in the singer's music video for "In the Night."
