Bachelor in Paradise star Jill Chin has broken down her love triangle with Kira Mengistu and Romeo Alexander and how she never intentionally became a part of it.

On Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season, Romeo stepped foot onto the beach in Mexico and said, "It's been so long since I've seen her, but I still think there is something there between me and Jill. But I am afraid Kira will be here. As long as she doesn't get in the way of me and Jill, [it should be fine]."

Once Kira arrived in Paradise, she assumed that Romeo was going to be her man, which erupted an argument between the two women.

Jill claimed on the show that Kira "always goes after guys" that she likes, and she called the physician an annoying "b-tch."

Going back to how all of this began, Jill said during a recent appearance on the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast that she and Kira were good friends -- who had traveled together for multiple weeks -- before Jill met Romeo.

Jill apparently met Romeo for the first time while the two women were hanging out in New York together, but Kira had already met Romeo years earlier during their college days at Harvard.

"I met him in New York and then we all became friends. [Kira and I] were, like, best friends at that point," Jill told the podcast's co-hosts Joe Amabile, Tia Booth and Natasha Parker.

"She said she had a date with Romeo that day, and I was like, 'Oh okay, cool. You go on that and I'm going to hang out with our other friends.' So then we meet up with them both afterwards, and she was like, 'Did you feel like there were flirty vibes between you guys?'"

Jill recalled saying "not really" because she "honestly didn't think so."

The trio then went out that evening, and Kira allegedly never told her girls -- Jill and fellow The Bachelor alums Daria Rose and Tessa Tookes from Clayton Echard's season -- that Romeo was invited.

"We show up... and Kira was already in the club. She was doing her thing in the club, from what I understand, and then Romeo was outside and we couldn't get in... So we take Romeo to another bar, like, we adopted him," Jill explained.

Jill laughed about how Romeo had "bleached" his hair on Halloween at the time.

"So we [steal] him away and then.... we're in a bar, and he's in the bar acting like he's the Bachelor. He's pulling all of us individually to go 'chat,' and I was like, 'This is strange.' So I didn't know what to make of him at all that first day," Jill admitted.

Jill apparently thought Romeo was a little "strange" and there "was something going on" with him.

"His behavior is consistent [with what viewers saw on Bachelor in Paradise]," Jill quipped.

Jill and Romeo ended up talking the whole night, according to Jill, but she still didn't know "what was going on with him."

"So after that, there was such a weird moment," Jill explained.

"Kira comes back, she rejoins the group, and then she asked [Romeo] point blank, 'Who are you feeling more, me or Jill?' And he said, 'Jill.' He said me! And I was like, 'What?! There's no way.' Because I had just met him that day and I wasn't romantically interested in him at that point."

Jill remembered the situation being "so weird" and "bad."

"I was like, 'No, I feel bad because you went on a date with him earlier today, like, what the hell?!'" Jill recalled. "So it was very strange and the three of us become friends... Kira and I were like, 'We're not going to let a guy get in the middle of our friendship.'"

Jill insisted she and Kira were "good" at that point and everything was "fine."

Kira subsequently visited Romeo a couple more times in New York and Jill saw him once more.

"And then I had found out that they kissed in the club. Romeo and I were, like, flirty friends. You could tell there was some sort of attraction there," Jill said. "Obviously I knew because he told Kira that the first day he met me."

Jill reiterated how she and Romeo were "flirty friends" but then she found out Romeo and Kira had kissed in the club a couple of months after their group hangout session.

"They didn't tell me about me. I just knew by the way they were both talking about the weekend that something had happened... Something was telling me that they hooked up," Jill said.

"So I just point blank asked Romeo, 'Did you kiss Kira this weekend?' And he was like, 'Yeah, so actually...'"

The architectural historian from Rhode Island claimed Romeo "can't lie" and just "does not have the capability to lie."

"So I knew he was being honest with me, and so I was hurt by it because they just didn't tell me about it," Jill explained.

"Obviously I didn't have any ties to Romeo, like, you guys are free to do whatever you want, but I was like, 'All of us are friends and I kind of want to know just so I know what to do with myself and how I should be conducting myself.'"

Jill previously told Us Weekly that Kira apologized for her secret kiss with Romeo and the women squashed their beef before appearing on Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season.

Once Romeo arrived in Paradise, Jill apparently assumed they were going to have a conversation because they hadn't talked in "so long."

But she said she never anticipated Romeo would want to grow their connection and date her.

"When I saw him coming in being like, 'I want to pursue Jill,' that really surprised me," Jill admitted to Us.

Jill told the magazine that she and Kira ultimately agreed to keep their distance from each other on the show because they weren't getting to a "healthy" place.

And since filming the show, Jill confirmed, "We haven't spoken at all."

Kira recently shared her side of the story and also cleared up "misunderstandings" regarding her friendship with Jill and their love triangle with Romeo.

Following Kira and Jill's confrontation on the beach in Mexico, Romeo gave Jill his rose at the first Rose Ceremony of the season, but Jill -- angry over Romeo's flirtation with both Kira and Brittany Galvin -- only accepted the rose so she could stay in Paradise and date other men.

"I think [Romeo] was able to show me that he wasn't ready for this relationship," she said earlier this month, "and so I moved on from that and I think that's valuable in itself."

The Bachelor in Paradise episodes that aired earlier this week featured Kira, who got eliminated from the show, coming back to Paradise and asking Romeo to leave with her. Romeo and Kira kissed and then he reluctantly agreed to go with her.

Meanwhile, Jill is pursuing a romance with Jacob Rapini on the show.
