Bachelor in Paradise alum Derek Peth and The Hills: New Beginnings star Stephanie Pratt have a budding romance.

Stephanie, 32, spoke of her upcoming date with Derek, 32, during the Monday episode of her "Pratt Cast" podcast with Bachelor Nation's Wells Adams.
"It got off to a rocky start, but we've been texting and he's actually flying in this weekend," the MTV star revealed. "This is going to be a romantic weekend."
Stephanie made it known on the March 25 episode of her podcast that she would "absolutely" go on a second date with Derek, according to Us Weekly, who called off his engagement to Bachelor in Paradise co-star Taylor Nolan in June 2018.
And Derek, a New York-based banker, revealed to the world on that podcast he had feelings for the sister of Spencer Pratt.
"I was very attracted to you and we had tons of fun, and in any case like that, of course I would want to see that person again," Derek reportedly said.
"Yeah, ditto," Stephanie agreed, according to Us. "We did have the best date."
Derek apparently didn't expect to fall for Stephanie, but he said she impressed him with her wit and charm during their first outing together.

The Bachelorette alum reportedly told Wells on the March 18 "Pratt Cast" episode that he was "pleasantly surprised" by the blonde beauty.
"She's a lot smarter than I thought. She's quippy and quick," Derek shared, according to the magazine. "There was, like, not an empty, dull moment."

"I'm scared that's going to change how people look at me or, you know, my role on The Hills," Stephanie reportedly confessed on her podcast late last month.
"I like being the single girl on the show. I'm just worried that things will change... I'm always the single girl... It is a role and it's very deep-set in its ways."
Derek found fame by competing for JoJo Fletcher's heart on The Bachelorette's twelfth season. He later fell in love with Taylor on Bachelor in Paradise's fourth edition and popped the question during the live reunion special in September 2017.
The Hills: New Beginnings is set to premiere Monday, June 24 on MTV.
