Ariel Frenkel will be one of the women vying for Zach Shallcross' heart on The Bachelor's 27th season.

Ariel, a 28-year-old brunette beauty from New York City, NY, will be hoping to find love with Zach when The Bachelor premieres its new season Monday, January 23 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

ABC says Ariel is "a thrill-seeker," and so filming The Bachelor must have delivered. She went on the show hoping that Zach would be her perfect match.

Zach told BachelorNation.com that he wants to find a "really compassionate" woman who's "kind to everyone."

"I think a lot of people can be really self-involved. So how you treat people on a day-to-day basis is really important to me," Zach said. "I just want someone who is a really kind, compassionate person."

He also said that going into filming, he was "most nervous" about meeting a woman who joined the show for the wrong reasons.

"I'm most nervous about the fact that there could be people that are on this journey and a part of this experience that don't take it seriously and don't want to actually find love," Zach shared.

"I want to find someone who truly wants a future with me, so that's what scares me the most."

The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer recently teased that Zach's season is "a throwback" and the "most emotional" one he's ever hosted. Jesse also noted how Season 27 will be more "about the love story" and "less about the drama."

Jesse also teased on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast how Zach really "shines" on The Bachelor, and so will Ariel outshine the 29 other women on the show and ultimately be the one to win Zach's heart?

Ariel is a freelance marketing consultant

Prior to working as freelancer for about eight months, Ariel was an account planner for the Financial Times for nearly two years.

Ariel has also held down jobs as a project manager for Earl Enterprises, a TV scripted assistant for William Morris Endeavor, and a Campus Brand Manager for Ponder Products.

She started her career as a marketing and public relations intern.

Ariel is looking for a man who can match her energy

Ariel considers herself adventurous, sophisticated, and unapologetically herself.

She enjoys going on long walks and listening to SZA, a singer and songwriter formally known as Solana Imani Rowe.

Ariel also loves to read Architectural Digest and dance to Abba. She danced throughout high school as part of a team.

The Bachelor bachelorette is "a woman of the world"

ABC calls Ariel "a woman of the world" because she has traveled everywhere, from Europe to Asia to South America.

Based on Ariel's Instagram, she recently touched down in London, England; Paris, France; Milan, Italy; and Lisbon, Portugal.

Ariel also speaks French with limited working proficiency and Russian with bilingual proficiency.

Ariel had an interest in seeing the world even in high school. In 2010, she took a creative writing course in Barcelona, Spain.

Ariel appears to love her home life just as much as jet-setting

Ariel comes from a big, loving Ukrainian family, and she's looking for a love that resembles what her parents have had for many years.

When she's not taking trips all over the world, Ariel finds joy in exploring her hometown of New York City.

Ariel even jokes that she still dresses like a Real Housewife of New Jersey.

The Bachelor bachelorette took a cooking class in Italy before starting college

Ariel took a summer culinary course in Florence, Italy at Florence University of Arts in 2012. She learned how to prepare Italian cuisine by region.

Ariel then attended The George Washington University from 2012-2016, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Sciences.

While at school, Ariel was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
