Katharine McPhee's "Love Story" apparently began a new chapter over the weekend.

The American Idol fifth season runner-up tied the knot with Nick Cokas on Saturday in a late afternoon ceremony at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, McPhee's representative Justin Gray Stone told People.

"[Nick] is the love of my life," McPhee told People. "This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect."

McPhee's fellow former Idol 5 finalists Kellie Pickler and Mandisa Hundley were among the more than 300 guests in attendance for the ceremony, People reported.  McPhee wore a strapless ivory Manuel Mota gown and Neil Lane jewels while Cokas wore an Armani tuxedo.

The 42-year-old Cokas met McPhee in 2005 when they both appeared in a Los Angeles theater production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.  He proposed to the 23-year-old former Idol finalist with a pink and yellow engagement ring last spring, and the two tried to keep the pending nuptials quiet so McPhee could focus on her career.

While McPhee parted ways with her record label in January, she has been busy trying to establish her acting credentials.

Last fall, she finished production on I Know What Boys Like -- a comedy produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions that she co-stars in alongside Scary Movie actress Anna Faris -- which is scheduled to premiere mid-2008. She's also involved with the independent films The Last Caller and Success.

Despite the couple's age difference, McPhee has previously stated it doesn't bother her.

"People make such a big deal out of [our age difference]," McPhee told Tyra Banks during an appearance on The Tyra Banks Show last year.  "I feel like age is just a number."
