The network had announced in April it had ordered the show's seventeenth season of America's Next Top Model for broadcast this fall and revealed it will feature models from the past 16 cycles returning to compete in the franchise's first all-stars season.

In addition, The CW had also announced it had renewed America's Next Top Model for an eighteenth edition for broadcast later in the 2011-2012 television season.

America's Next Top Model's all-stars season will feature "the models who became breakout characters and... had the most memorable stories from past cycles," according to network.

The CW has also announced H8R, a new Mario Lopez-hosted reality series which will bring celebrities face-to-face with the people who hate them, will premiere September 14 at 8PM ET/PT and serve as the regular lead-in for America's Next Top Model's seventeenth season.

Brittani Kline, a 19-year-old student from Beech Creek, PA, won America's Next Top Model's sixteenth season earlier this year, beating out Molly O'Connell, a 22-year-old student from Charleston, SC.
