ABC has announced Bachelor Pad, a new spinoff of the network's reality dating series that will feature 20 former contestants from The Bachelor's 13 seasons and The Bachelorette's five seasons living together in a Big Brother-style house, will premiere Monday, August 9 at 8PM ET/PT.

Bachelor Pad will follow the participants as they compete in a series of challenges, some of which are inspired by incidents from previous The Bachelor or The Bachelorette seasons.

Each two-hour episode will conclude with evictions from the house and only one participant will take home the show's cash prize.

Participants and further details about the prize will be announced at a later date.

ABC ordered Bachelor Pad in January, and the six-episode series will be hosted by Chris Harrison -- who has helmed every The Bachelor and The Bachelorette edition.

Bachelor Pad will premiere the week after The Bachelorette's sixth-season finale broadcast.

The Bachelorette's sixth season will star former The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and premiere Monday, May 24 at 9PM ET/PT.

In addition to Bachelor Pad, ABC announced Dating in the Dark's second season will debut August 9, the second season of Shaq Vs. will premiere August 10, Wipeout's third season will debut June 1, its new Boston Med hospital-based reality documentary series will premiere June 24, and its new Downfall skyscraper game show will debut June 29.
