90 Day Fiance star Luis Mendez is in a war of words with his ex-wife and former co-star Molly Hopkins.

"You know something? [Molly] only took me here to get fame for her business," Luis, 27, told Us Weekly on Thursday. "She never wanted to give me the opportunity to get my papers. Never."

Luis from the Dominican Republic was firing back at Molly, a 43-year-old from Georgia, after she gave the magazine a statement on Wednesday about Luis remarrying only five months after the former couple had finalized their divorce.

"I feel it clearly shows he was possibly using me and my finances to get here because our divorce was final in May," Molly told Us.

"So he either already knew her and had a plan all along and I'm a fool, or we are both fools if she doesn't know him, because I met Jekyll in the Dominican and got Hyde here, or vice versa. Either way, may it work out because I'm glad he's gone."

Molly and Luis' tumultuous relationship was documented on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance, followed by Season 3 of the series' 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? spinoff.

Luis confirmed to In Touch Weekly on Monday he tied the knot September 19; however, he is keeping his new wife's identity a secret.

"I love this girl so much. She's amazing. The most amazing part was meeting her because she changed all life to happiness," Luis told In Touch.

Luis also insisted at the time he's had "no contact" with Molly ever since their divorce became official.

"I just want to be happy," he told the magazine earlier this week. "I don't want to know anything about it. But if she wants to congratulate me, it's okay."

But Molly is very far from offering Luis a congratulatory message, as she first reacted to the wedding news in an Instagram Live video earlier this month.

"I totally got used. But it's all good. Luis got married to a Dominican lady in Jersey, best I can tell... He totally got married to someone who looks older than me from the Dominican," Molly said in the video.

"For all you people that thought I was crazy -- his situation was pretty lovely. I mean, we were together for two years, so it's all good... It doesn't hurt at all. I'm good. I'm so good."

Molly fell for Luis while vacationing in his native country, and Luis proposed marriage after two months of a whirlwind romance.

Luis then married Molly in July 2017 and permanently moved to the United States, but their relationship quickly fell apart.

They appeared to fight constantly, and Molly accused Luis of changing as a person and being disinterested in her children.

Molly therefore filed for divorce in January 2018, and the paperwork was reportedly finalized on May 4.
