The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couples who previously starred on the spinoff's sixth season are Elizabeth and Andrei, Angela and Michael, and Yara and Jovi.

Jenny and Sumit previously appeared on all three seasons of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, which follows American citizens moving to foreign countries for the sake of love.

In a departure from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s original premise -- which was continuing to follow the lives of couples who married after the American resident's foreign partner came to the United States on a K-1 visa -- Usman and Kim are not married, and neither are Ed and Liz (nor is Liz even a foreigner).

Jenny and Sumit are in fact married, but their wedding or ceremony never aired on TLC. In addition, the couple are also not living in America but in India, Sumit's home country.

Kim and Usman appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and the season showed Kim traveling overseas to meet Usman in person for the first time. Usman also previously appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days with his prior American partner Lisa Hamme, whom he married in the show's season finale.

Ed and Liz previously appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life on discovery+.

"As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationships, they'll be put to the test on everything from emotional affairs to disapproving family to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon stage goodbye, are they headed toward happily ever after or happily never after?" TLC teased of the new Happily Ever After? season.

Below is what happened on Episode 12 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s seventh season.

BILAL and SHAEEDA

A few months after the couple got married, Shaeeda was still trying to adapt to a life in America. She was upset because nothing was coming together in terms of her yoga career and desired pregnancy.

The couple was shown packing for a trip to New York, where Shaeeda planned to meet up with a friend Eutrice, who had never met Bilal before. Bilal was also planning some romantic things for his wife.

Shaeeda pointed out how Eutrice has a strong personality, and so she worried about her friend clashing with Bilal.

Bilal treated their weekend away like an adventure, and Shaeeda said she hoped to try for a baby and leave the weekend pregnant. She didn't think they were on the same page when it came to having a child, but Bilal asked Shaeeda to leave baggage at home and have fun.

Shaeeda, however, was hoping her best friend would be able to come through to Bilal.

Bilal and Shaeeda explored the streets of New York and she thought it was beautiful as well as the epitome of romance.

When the couple met up with Eutrice at a restaurant, positive vibes quickly went downhill. Eutrice asked Bilal how he felt about her best friend, and Bilal explained how a relationship is between two individuals and his marriage didn't have anything to do with her.

Shaeeda asked her husband to relax, and Eutrice called him "mean and rude." The dinner quickly became tense and uncomfortable, but Bilal insisted Eutrice hadn't seen "tense" from him yet.

Bilal could tell Eutrice didn't like her, and Eutrice feared her best friend was overlooking some personality flaws in her husband. Shaeeda attempted to put out the fire with distractions, and she said it was important for them to mesh and get along because they're both very special to her.

Bilal felt Eutrice didn't give him a real chance or the benefit of the doubt, and Eutrice called him very defensive. Bilal claimed he did a lot of things for Shaeeda, but Eutrice noted how she'd be able to find another man who could do the same things.

"He's making me lose my appetite... I'm trying to compose myself," Eutrice announced at the table.

Eutrice believed Bilal acted entitled, complaining about how it's not like Bilal had given Shaeeda his kidney or something.

KIM and USMAN

Usman's mother wanted him to marry a young woman in Nigeria as his first wife, 18-year-old Fareedet, before marrying Kim. Usman therefore met Fareedet for the first time, and she looked absolutely stunning.

The pair sat down with their mothers, and Fadimatu explained how she'd like Usman to marry a woman who could give her grandchildren. Fadimatu also worried that if Usman married Kim as his first wife, he'd move to the United States and potentially never come back.

Fareedet thought Usman was mature and responsible, and she liked the fact Usman was successful in his music career.

Usman told Fareedet that he wanted to leave the second he walked into her home but her beauty got him excited. Usman liked what he saw, and so he wanted to get to know her personality and character a little bit better.

Fareedet shared how she'd like to have up to four children and she'd love for Usman to be her husband because she saw his social media page and really liked him. Fareedet, however, pointed out how she'd like to get to know him better before tying the knot.

Usman explained how he was in a relationship with a woman he had been dating for a long time but he wasn't turning Fareedet down. Usman explained the situation and that he'd like to marry Kim first and then have children with her.

Fareedet said she wouldn't agree to that situation unless she became Usman's first wife, and so Usman said he would figure things out with time and wanted Fareedet's phone number so they could talk freely in the meantime.

Fareedet was from his region and Muslim, and so he seemed to like her and thought she'd be a good match for him. But Usman loved Kim and didn't know how exactly to proceed.

The meeting went well and Fadimatu was happy, but both of the women in his life wanted to be the first wife, which was going to present a big problem.

When Usman reunited with Kim in their hotel room, Usman walked her through what happened and shared how the woman was "fine" and "okay," and not ugly.

Usman said he needed time to think about things, and he insisted he was going to remain loyal to Kim. Kim knew they had to follow Fadimatu's orders in order to get what they wanted and hopefully receive her blessing to marry.

Kim was having a tough time with another woman being introduced to her fiance the day after they got engaged, and Kim was upset to see Usman wasn't wearing the ring she had given him.

Usman told the cameras that men don't wear engagement rings in his culture and so he took it off to avoid drama and problems. Usman said he was trying to play it safe, and Kim hoped her patience and understanding would win Fadimatu over.

Usman reminded Kim that she was his No. 1, and then Kim hugged him.

Later on, Kim and Usman met with Fadimatu again, and Usman revealed that he was engaged and was in love with Kim. Usman made it known he wanted to marry Kim first and have a second wife later.

Usman's family apparently wrote a note for Kim, and she thought it was going to be a whole new list of demands. However, it was essentially a contract they wanted Kim to sign with a list of terms, including how Usman needed to visit them once every quarter of every year if he moved to America to be with Kim.

Kim would also have to let Usman marry another woman so he could have children. Kim realized while she was reading this note that it was the blessing she had been waiting for -- and she called the moment "huge."

Kim agreed to the arrangement, and she and Usman appeared ecstatic. Fadimatu concluded, "You have my consent," after seeing how Kim had a great attitude. Kim and Usman celebrated the news, and Kim gushed about feeling so "completely in love" with her man.

"You're worth every single struggle," Usman told Kim.

JENNY and SUMIT

Jenny was shown at a doctor appointment after falling off a chair while she was trying to hang a picture.

Jenny's daughter was scheduled to arrive in India the next day, but Jenny apparently had a muscular tear that could only be treated with physiotherapy over the course of 10 days.

Sumit acknowledged Jenny was more fragile given she's 63-years-old, and so he was afraid to bring up how he'd like to have a baby, which would make their age difference even more glaring. Sumit feared he and his wife were in very different stages of life.

Sumit said he wanted to take care of Jenny but he didn't know how he was going to balance work with home care. Jenny said if she was back in America, she'd have her family around to help her. Jenny wanted her family nearby more and more with each passing day.

Jenny celebrated when her daughter Christina and daughter-in-law arrived in India, and the women were in tears and couldn't stop embracing each other. Sumit cooked everyone a nice dinner.

Christina said she just wanted her mother to feel acceptable and comfortable in a foreign country and that it was Sumit's job to lift her up and walk away from his own family if they couldn't accept and be kind to his wife.

Christina didn't want Jenny to feel like an outcast, but Sumit told the cameras Christina would never understand the situation and she should just mind her own business.

ELIZABETH and ANDREI

Elizabeth, Andrei and their fathers stopped at a petting zoo for the couple's daughter Eleanor, who got to see alpacas.

Elizabeth's father Chuck was concerned Elizabeth's mother and sisters weren't invited on this trip to the Grand Canyon, where Elizabeth had announced her pregnancy news.

Chuck also wondered how this new baby was going to affect Elizabeth's new singing career. Elizabeth said she was going to put her singing on hold and focus on the baby.

"I know my sisters might be hurt about finding out I'm pregnant on social media, but I'm also hurt about some of the decisions they've made lately... and the last time I saw them, they had some harsh words about my husband," Elizabeth said.

Becky and Jenn had joked about Andrei getting deported, and Elizabeth clearly didn't think that was funny. She was also upset her sisters had attended their mother's birthday party with Charlie there.

But Chuck didn't want Elizabeth to be on the outs with her relatives once her second baby arrived.

Chuck didn't want to see his family fractured, and so he recommended family therapy, but Elizabeth admitted her relatives were "difficult" and she'd only try one session. Elizabeth didn't think fighting in front of a therapist would help the situation.

Elizabeth said she wanted to be on good terms with her sisters once her baby came, and so she agreed to go to therapy.

The day after Elizabeth announced her baby news on Instagram, no one in her family called her, apparently.

Andrei didn't care because he thought Elizabeth's sisters and mother were bad people, but Elizabeth was clearly unhappy.

Andrei didn't think he needed to respect people who didn't respect him, and he didn't like the idea of therapy. Andrei said if someone doesn't like a person in Moldova, then those two people simply don't talk or hang out.

Andrei ultimately agreed to therapy, but only so he could speak his mind and say some stuff. Andrei wanted the therapist to basically call Elizabeth's family out for having issues, and Elizabeth said he shouldn't go into a session with that mindset.

On a brighter note, Elizabeth got to spend an evening alone with her husband making S‘mores at the end of their trip.

ANGELA and MICHAEL

Angela was upset because Michael had allegedly called a random woman on Instagram his "person" and he wouldn't agree to take his Instagram account down.

Angela admitted she felt exhausted as she packed up her clothes to leave Nigeria. Angela had been with Michael for five years and married for two, and so she admitted it was hard to let go. She also didn't want to admit to making such a big mistake at her age.

Michael then FaceTimed with Angela, who said she felt sick, and the pair agreed to meet up somewhere to talk. Angela felt confused, knowing she had threatened to leave Michael so many times but never followed through.

This time, she didn't know how to handle things. Angela wanted to see effort from Michael, explaining how actions show the truth and Michael often lied with his words.

When the spouses met up with each other, Michael said he really wanted their marriage to work and so he'd be willing to delete his Instagram account.

Michael felt bad and discouraged about having to do that, but he said he loved Angela and really wanted to save his marriage. Angela said Michael never should have put the Instagram account up to begin with, but she looked pleased.

Angela asked Michael to tell her the truth going forward because he had put her through the wringer. Angela, however, was still skeptical of Michael because she claimed he had a habit with lying.

Angela looked through Michael's phone and found a woman named Angelle, whom Michael had called a friend from university.

Angela threatened to call the number to find out for sure, and she said she'd always be in Michael's business. Michael thought Angela was being hypocritical because she had a friend named Billy from TikTok.

Angela called Angelle and flat out asked why her number was in Michael's phone.

The woman said she was Michael's friend and then hung up on Angela. Angela wouldn't reveal if the woman was pretty, and Angela wondered what her husband was doing behind her back.

Angela broke down into tears and Michael comforted her and expressed his love again.

Angela wasn't sure if Michael was just putting on an act to make her think that he loved her. Angela wanted her husband to want to talk to her and miss her, but Michael worried about being miserable in America if Angela continued to try to control him.

JOVI and YARA

Jovi was still upset about the apartment hunting, but the couple met up with one of Jovi's friends named Talmadge in Prague, and so he was excited about that. Jovi acknowledged how Yara didn't like most of his friends, and so Jovi hoped the pair would get along this time.

Talmadge recalled a story about how Jovi had met up with him and brought two Ukrainian women with him, and Yara said she had no idea Jovi dated women from Ukraine before. Jovi had allegedly claimed he only had one girlfriend before meeting Yara.

Yara assured Jovi that she didn't want to divorce him, but Talmadge thought it was weird Yara would look for an apartment behind her husband's back. Talmadge called Yara out for being "sketchy" and doing some "bullsh-t." He accused Jovi's wife of being selfish.

Yara wanted to meet up with her best friend Karina in Germany next. Given Talmadge lived in Germany at the time, Jovi asked if his pal could join them. Yara said she needed to give her friend emotional support and so this trip wasn't about partying or going to strip clubs.

Karina had escaped from the war in Ukraine, and so Yara expressed how she didn't like Jovi's behavior and how he was treating this very serious trip.
