The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couples who previously starred on the spinoff's sixth season are Elizabeth and Andrei, Angela and Michael, and Yara and Jovi.

Jenny and Sumit previously appeared on all three seasons of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, which follows American citizens moving to foreign countries for the sake of love.

In a departure from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s original premise -- which was continuing to follow the lives of couples who married after the American resident's foreign partner came to the United States on a K-1 visa -- Usman and Kim are not married, and neither are Ed and Liz (nor is Liz even a foreigner).

Jenny and Sumit are in fact married, but their wedding or ceremony never aired on TLC. In addition, the couple are also not living in America but in India, Sumit's home country.

Kim and Usman appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and the season showed Kim traveling overseas to meet Usman in person for the first time. Usman also previously appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days with his prior American partner Lisa Hamme, whom he married in the show's season finale.

Ed and Liz previously appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life on discovery+.

"As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationships, they'll be put to the test on everything from emotional affairs to disapproving family to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon stage goodbye, are they headed toward happily ever after or happily never after?" TLC teased of the new Happily Ever After? season.

Below is what happened on Episode 8 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s seventh season.

KIM and USMAN

Usman and Kim were shown driving to a local animal market in Sokoto, Nigeria, to buy a cow for Usman's mother before she was about to meet her for the first time. Kim bought a cow for $185, and she was about to enter the "most nerve-wracking moment" of her life.

Kim believed she was about to enter "the lion's den," and she was desperate to receive Usman's mother blessing for to marry.

If Usman's mother didn't approve of Kim, Kim noted there wasn't going to be a relationship with Usman anymore. She knew that Usman's mother didn't want him to be with an older American woman, but Kim set out to prove how much she loved Usman and how she's a good person.

Kim was then introduced to Usman's mother Fadimatu, immediate elder brother Faruq, elder brother Mohammed, and elder sister Safeeyah. Usman explained to Kim how these are the "decision making people" in his family.

Usman thought his siblings' acceptance would make the situation so much better, but the final decision was ultimately up to Usman's mother.

Usman shared with his family how Kim really loved him and he loved her in return. Fadimatu worried about Kim not being able to have a child, and one of his brothers didn't understand why Usman liked older women.

Usman's family initially didn't support the couple's union, but then the bull was delivered to Fadimatu's home. Usman's family considered it "a bribe," but Kim insisted that wasn't the case.

Fadimatu complained about the white woman being in her house, and Usman's brother complained about him only dating women who cannot have children.

ELIZABETH and ANDREI

It became time for Andrei's immigration interview, and Elizabeth joined him for the important occasion. The pair discussed in the car what type of questions they may be asked, and Elizabeth said this interview was going to determine the course of the rest of their lives because Andrei could possibly be deported.

"Our fate lies in the immigration officer's hands right now... Everything we've built could be gone in a second," Elizabeth lamented.

After the interview, Andrei's permanent green card was not approved. Andrei said the officer didn't say "no" but he didn't say "yes" at the same time.

Elizabeth apparently forgot which year the pair had met each other, and Andrei scolded her on the way home for not remembering a detail like that.

"Don't you dare hound me right now," Elizabeth complained in the car. "You're not going to sit there and blame me."

Andrei also scolded Elizabeth for giggling during the interview, although she claimed she had just been trying to lighten the mood.

Andrei was convinced someone from Elizabeth's family had reported him to immigration, and Elizabeth broke down into tears. Andrei said if he found out someone had thrown him under the bus, there was going to be a serious problem.

Elizabeth and Andrei bickered on-camera about how they'd handle the situation if Andrei got deported. Elizabeth said she'd want to fight the verdict, but Andrei demanded how his wife was going to pack her bags and join him in Moldova.

ED and LIZ

Ed and Liz's engagement party was great until Liz's ex-coworker showed up and seemed to be interested in Liz in a romantic way. When Ed asked Liz about the situation, she got angry and ran off.

Ed was worried about Liz's safety and was also upset about how she had handled the situation. Liz ended up getting a ride from producers, and Liz complained about how Ed was "the most insecure person" and didn't believe in true love.

"I threw my wedding ring in the grass and it's gone," Liz cried in the car. "He is so jealous. It's like he wants me to hurt him, he wants me to cheat on him. I am just over it."

Once Liz got home, Ed accused her of being wasted. Ed believed the woman was a lesbian whom Liz had a relationship with, but Liz denied it and asked to see some proof.

"I'm tired of your dishonesty. I want to marry you but I can't," Ed told Liz.

Liz said she and Ed had stepped into trust issues from their past and she'd never invite a woman whom she had a romance with to her engagement party. Liz then brought up how Ed had seemingly taken a new girl out every night when they were broken up, which she could've thrown in his face.

Ed then flat out asked Liz if she's a lesbian, and she replied, "I have no physical attraction to any females. I am not attracted to anything but f-cking d-ck."

Ed said Liz had left him stranded, and then Liz shouted about how Ed didn't let her hang out with any friends. Liz said Ed didn't snuggle with her or show her any physical intimacy, and she yelled about how she was still teaching him how to kiss.

Ed called Liz "mean," and the pair accused each other of calling each other fat. Ed told Liz that she was not overweight, although he'd "drop positive hints" here or there about her needing to eat healthier or exercise more.

Ed told Liz that she was drunk and they needed some time apart, but Liz disagreed with needing space.

"Until I get every single question answered, I'm not going to marry you," Ed snapped, adding, "I will find out [the truth]."

Ed asked Liz to sleep it off and they'd talk later, and Liz suggested that she was in hell with her fiance.

Ed told Liz that he thought she was bisexual, but she threw those accusations down, once again. Liz said she had a curfew and wouldn't even have time to cheat on him with another woman.

Ed said he didn't want to marry a woman who makes poor decisions, but Liz reminded Ed how she loved him despite the fact he's not very attractive.

Liz then revealed how she had thrown her $13,000 engagement ring into a bush, and Ed said that ring was a symbol of their love and that's the worst thing she could've done. Ed called Liz "stupid" because she could have at least pawned the ring and helped her grandparents out.

Liz continued to insist she was innocent and Ed was insecure, and then Ed cut the fight short.

JENNY and SUMIT

After the Kama Sutra class, which was "the opposite of sexy," according to Jenny, Sumit said Jenny got too excited in the cowgirl position and "broke" his stomach. Sumit said they had to call a doctor and he had naval displacement.

The couple then left their honeymoon, and Sumit suggested they should check on his parents. Jenny pointed out how Sumit's parents never checked on him, but he thought it was his job to make an effort in fear they were going to cut ties with him. Sumit hadn't spoken with his parents since they discovered he and Jenny got married.

"I want both of them in my life. They cannot live without me and I cannot live without them," Sumit told the cameras.

Jenny called Sumit's parents "stubborn," but he didn't want them to give up on him.

Jenny said Sumit should be with her and solely focused on her -- "and that's it."

After the honeymoon ended, Jenny and Sumit went shopping for household appliances and cleaning supplies. Sumit expected Jenny to keep the house clean, and he admitted to the cameras that she was "failing" in that area.

Sumit wanted Jenny to learn the Indian way of housekeeping, which would make her a "superwoman," but Jenny pointed out how they didn't have a traditional marriage and Sumit needed to accept her for who she is.

"Sumit has completely lost his mind... It doesn't matter what his parents think about my house, if it's a big mess. He can go and talk to them all he wants to, but I don't want any part of it," Jenny complained.

"Now I'm worried he wants me to be 'the traditional Indian wife' for [his parents], which is never going to happen. This isn't the married life I expected."

ANGELA and MICHAEL

Angela woke up calm after her explosive altercation with Michael in which she had ripped his car apart. Angela claimed she had no fight left, and so she relieved some stress by going to her hotel gym. Angela said she also booked a flight home that evening.

"It was worse than a f-cking nightmare, so I just changed my flights and I'll be leaving Nigeria... and as soon as I get off the plane, I'll be going to my lawyer's office and I'm filing for divorce and I'm pulling the visas," Angela declared.

"Because I don't have that much time before Michael's visa gets approved. And right now, with the way Michael is acting, it makes me feel like he's a damn scammer. I know when I've lost the fight, I've lost it. It's time to go home."

Angela was convinced Michael had been talking to other women on social media. She said Michael kept texting her, saying she had no right to show up at his place without any warning. Angela, however, said she didn't know it's required in Michael's culture for a wife to give her husband a heads-up before visiting him.

Angela said her feelings were still wrapped up in Michael but he appeared to love the car more than he loved her. Angela said Michael had become cocky and rude, and she wasn't prepared to put energy into changing him.

Angela's friend Renee recommended a restaurant meeting for the couple so they could talk and hash things out, but Angela said she didn't want to waste time on Michael again and she'd never be happy with the man he had allegedly become.

"I gave it my all," Angela insisted. "I'm just tired and ready to go home and forget about it."

Renee told Angela that she couldn't leave the conversation like that, with a bunch of what ifs? And Angela knew if she left Nigeria that night, she'd never see him again.

But Angela also didn't want to give "a scammer" an opportunity to come to America.

"How do you really know when it's time to end a marriage... It's painful at this point. When is it okay for me to give up?" Angela questioned.

Angela later met Michael at bar, and Michael thought Angela just wanted to prove a point -- but that all she was proving was their marriage was over.

Angela demanded to look through Michael's phone, including his DMs, but Michael refused since it's his private property.

The pair fought at the bar and didn't reach any type of conclusion, other than Angela threatening to fly home to the United States and not talk to Michael again.

BILAL and SHAEEDA

Bilal and Shaeeda were shown going to a doctor's office so Shaeeda could receive her fertility test results, and Shaeeda was feeling stressed and nauseous. Shaeeda prayed for good news, but she really didn't know what to expect.

The gynecologist shared with Shaeeda how her ovarian reserve was low, meaning she didn't have many eggs left in order to have a spontaneous and natural childbirth.

"At the age of 40, you have a five percent chance in every cycle to get pregnant, and your chances will decrease as you get older," the doctor explained.

Shaeeda feared she may never be able to have children and her fertility was compromised.

The doctor shared how Shaeeda had about 2.5 percent of the million eggs she had started out with left. The doctor recommended trying for a baby sooner rather than later because he wasn't sure what her egg count would look like six months or two years from that point.

Shaeeda got a bit emotional during the appointment, but Bilal still didn't seem ready for a baby in his new marriage.

Shaeeda learned she may be able to freeze her eggs, and Shaeeda said this was going to "absolutely" change Bilal's plans to wait until she's 40 to have a child.

"If Bilal is not willing, that is definitely going to be a dealbreaker in our relationship," Shaeeda noted

JOVI and YARA

Jovi was about to leave for work, and he'd be gone for a few weeks. During that time, if her green card arrived, Yara wanted to travel to see her family without her husband.

Yara wanted to help her loved ones amid the war in Ukraine, but Jovi thought she was thinking irrationally. He didn't want her to go to Europe alone with their young daughter Mylah.

Yara explained how it was extremely difficult to be away from her friends and family while they were struggling. Yara didn't want to travel without her husband, her emotional support, but she also wanted to see her relatives as soon as possible.

Due to Jovi's convincing, Yara determined, "I will wait for you."

Jovi was so pleased Yara had made this choice, but he knew this time away from her was going to be especially difficult this time around.

Yara and Jovi's mother Gwen had become friends again, and so the women decided to spend a day together doing arts and crafts with Mylah.

Yara revealed to Gwen how she was anticipating her green card arriving in the next week.

Gwen was nervous about the idea of Yara traveling home considering the war in Ukraine was going on. Gwen thought Yara's emotions were getting the best of her, and she feared Yara would want to stay in Ukraine for good once she reunited with her loved ones.

Yara explained how her mother needed to meet her grandbaby and she needed to help her family.

"I don't know why this would be a problem. Jovi goes to work all the time, and I'd rather stay in Europe with my family and friends than stay here alone in America. And when he's gone, it doesn't really matter where I am," Yara told the cameras

Gwen told her daughter-in-law that she made her "crazy."
