Ari and Biniyam first appeared on Seasons 2 and 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and have a child together named Avi.

90 Day Fiance features Americans who have fallen in love with foreigners bringing their fiances to the United States on K-1 visas.

However, once the couple is in America together, the American must marry their overseas partner within the 90-day period allowed by the visa or the foreigner has to return to their home country.

"The pressure is on and with travel guidelines more challenging than ever, there's even more at stake with these international love stories," TLC teased of the season.

"Couples aren't just navigating unique lifestyle and cultural changes when arriving in America -- many of them must also adjust to parenthood and nontraditional family lifestyles. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, personalities and temperaments have changed and not always for the best."

Below is what happened on Episode 12 of 90 Day Fiance's ninth season.

YVE and MOHAMED

Yve and Mohamed had been arguing a lot, but Yve tried to hide those issues from her son Tharan.

In attempt to bond as a family, Yve brought Mohamed to Tharan's "ninja gym," where Tharan loved to play and exert some of his energy. Mohamed thought Tharan has "a pure heart," and he said he was excited to hang out with Yve's son and get along with him.

Yve said she loved watching Mohamed with her son because that's what mattered most to her and really counted. She said her heart melted when seeing them together.

However, Yve and Mohamed still had some obstacles to overcome. Yve said they were going to have to push their wedding back a month because the venue she wanted was all booked up in the near future, but Mohamed complained about just wanting to get married.

Mohamed didn't care where he tied the knot as long as it happened fast, but that part was clearly important to Yve, who especially didn't want to get married in her backyard.

"I don't feel good about that at all. I want to be allowed to work, and this takes already six or eight months after I apply. And my mom is already counting the days I go back and visit her, but I can't leave [the U.S.] without my green card," Mohamed said.

Mohamed said Yve's postponement of their wedding would affect his ability to see his family, but Yve insisted the situation was out of her control.

"Maybe you don't want to get married," Mohamed noted. "Let me know."

"If you're going to act like that, maybe I should think about it," Yve said.

Mohamed pointed out how he could pack his bags, and Yve called him "rude." Mohamed just wanted to get married in a courthouse, which made Yve cry given she had been waiting for a wedding for so long and wanted it to be special.

"I don't think he cares. I think he cares about getting that paperwork done," Yve told the cameras, adding how Mohamed would probably come to regret his words.

With 65 days to wed, Mohamed took off on his bicycle to a nearby coffee shop to spend some time with his friend named Rafay whom he had met at the mosque.

Mohamed shared with Rafay how he just wanted to obtain a marriage license right away and Yve was being "selfish." Mohamed said Yve was "holding paperwork over [his] head" and seemed happy as long as he was watching her son.

"I feel like she's just thinking about her life," Mohamed lamented in a confessional.

Mohamed broke down into tears over the idea he may not be able to support his mother financially for a long time. Mohamed wondered if he could find another sponsor in the U.S. to speed things along.

PATRICK and THAIS

Patrick said his trip to Las Vegas with Thais was "okay" but finding out his fiancee hadn't told her father the real reason why she's in the United States put a damper on the trip and was starting to wear Patrick thin.

Patrick said Thais didn't want to disappoint her dad, but Patrick's brother John didn't understand and wondered if Patrick was the disappointment.

Patrick, however, was convinced that Thais' father liked him -- or at least didn't hate him.

"I will not marry anyone without their dad knowing because to me, that's man code," Patrick explained.

Patrick acknowledged this was a red flag but he was going to solve this problem before getting married. John thought the situation was becoming "more twisted" with each passing day, asking Patrick, "Does she love you?"

Later on, John asked Thais why her dad didn't know about her wedding because it didn't make sense, but Thais said it made sense to her and her wedding was about Patrick and herself.

John said if his brother was a scumbag, he would understand Thais' hesitation and reluctance to bring her father into the situation, but that wasn't the case and Patrick made a good living.

John said Thais' father would probably hate Patrick and have some resentment towards him if Thais secretly got married, but Thais didn't think the situation had anything to do with John.

Patrick, on the other hand, believed John had every right to know and speak up given they're brothers.

Thais heard John talking about a crazy bachelor party one night and having "hookers," and so she told Patrick's brother to concentrate on his own life.

"If Patrick has a bachelor party, I will kill him and go back to Brazil -- and that's it," Thais vented in a confessional.

John realized in that moment that his brother was "whipped" and was going to rock with Thais no matter what. John, however, still intended on planning a party, saying, "Where there's a will, there's a way."

JIBRI and MIONA

Jibri and Miona were not on speaking terms, and so Jibri went on a hike with his grandmother Cheyne to let off some steam and clear his mind. Jibri said he had fallen in love with Miona's tenacity and hustle, but since Miona moved to the United States, he noticed she was only complaining about South Dakota.

When asked if he's going to get married, Jibri replied, "I don't know."

Cheyne struggled to see joy between Jibri and Miona, and she wanted her grandson to be brilliantly in love and shine with his partner, which worried her.

Jibri said he really loved Miona but needed them to get on the same page. Jibri said he wanted a wild and imaginative entrepreneur, the person and marketer Miona had been when the couple first met.

Jibri said he saw potential in Miona for them to create an amazing life together but his own dreams were on the back burner. Jibri wanted to marry his music and his art as well.

Jibri wanted to he co-stars in a movie rather than starring in their own respective movies.

Cheyne advised Jibri to be blunt and firm with Miona about his needs and desires.

Cheyne saw Jibri light up when talking about Miona, and so she realized a wedding was still a possibility. She also offered to officiate the couple's wedding as a way to also attend it.

Jibri later took Miona out to a nice dinner so they could talk in private and enjoy a nice meal. She wasn't happy about the idea of Jibri postponing their wedding, and she figured Jibri's parents had influenced him in that direction.

Jibri explained to Miona how he needed to work on his music and she must be supportive of that, and so Miona agreed to find ways to be a little more independent in South Dakota.

Jibri assured Miona that he wasn't ready to give up, but they only had five weeks left on their K-1 visa.

Miona suggested they could elope in California but she was never going to come around to a "freezing" South Dakota wedding. Jibri wished Miona would compromise, but she said she wasn't going to budge on this topic.

Jibri said he'd think about it but was not ready to give Miona a straight "yes" or "no" answer.

ARIELA and BINIYAM

Ariela's ex-husband Leandro showed up at Ariela and Biniyam's apartment to take Ariela shopping for a wedding dress, and Biniyam was upset because he didn't trust Leandro and didn't want the former couple to spend more time together.

However, Ariela announced that she wasn't feeling well and wasn't up for a day of shopping. She said she didn't feel like herself and felt nauseous, and then Leandro asked Ariela to think of her last period date.

"Are you guys trying to have another baby?" Leandro asked.

Biniyam said that was a private matter and not anyone else's business, and Ariela responded, "I can't be pregnant. I'm not ready to have another baby."

Leandro offered to drive Biniyam to the pharmacy so they could buy her a pregnancy test, and Ariela laughed about how weird this situation was. Leandro knew his presence was making Biniyam feel uncomfortable, but Biniyam wasn't able to drive in the United States yet.

Biniyam shared with Leandro how he'd love another child -- maybe even 10 babies -- but Leandro pointed out how that was way too many for Ariela and she'd never be game for that.

Ariela told Leandro how she only wanted one more child, and she said Biniyam's desire for a bus filled with babies could be "a dealbreaker" for their relationship. She told the men how Leandro seemed to know her better than her own husband.

Ariela then took the pregnancy test and received a negative result, which totally deflated and disappointed Biniyam. But Ariela was relieved, and she wondered if she and Biniyam wanted totally different futures.

Biniyam made it known how he'd like to have more kids, and so Ariela realized they're very different and it was "going to be hard to stay together."

"If you're scared for future, I don't know why you're marrying me," Biniyam said.

Ariela said she was just scared because she didn't really know herself and what she wants out of life. That's the major reason why her marriage to Leandro never worked out.

Biniyam reminded Ariela how they didn't have much time left on the K-1 visa, and so Ariela was beginning to panic a little bit. The couple was simply stressed.

KARA and GUILLERMO

Kara was shown taking Guillermo to a rodeo when the couple had three weeks left to get married. When hearing the national anthem, Guillermo felt "proud and good" to be in America with his love.

Guillermo was shocked by all the hot dogs, fries and nachos people were eating, and Kara's hope was to get Guillermo away from all "the heavy stuff" that had been happening in their lives, including the death of Guillermo's brother.

Guillermo recognized how sitting in the house would make him feel miserable, and so he was very appreciative to Kara for the fun outing.

Kara then suggested they should plan a nice wedding, something in the middle between the lavish one Guillermo imagined and the small, cost-effective one Kara was trying to plan. Guillermo loved how Kara offered to compromise, and he looked forward to an intimate, special and sentimental affair.

Kara promised they could just "live life" and stop worrying about the money, but she felt overwhelmed on the inside.

BILAL and SHAEEDA

With 50 days left to wed, Shaeeda said she could feel tension and a "sour" energy in her home with Bilal. This dynamic was not what she had envisioned her life with Bilal would be, and she didn't appear happy or at ease.

Shaeeda asked Bilal if he would do a yoga session with her to raise his spirits and lift him out of the dumps, but he simply wasn't feeling like himself.

Bilal didn't think he was vibing with Shaeeda, and they still had some pretty big issues lingering -- including the prenuptial agreement and "baby talk."

But Bilal agreed to do some yoga, and his children from his previous marriage also joined in. It made Shaeeda feel good to make Bilal smile, and she was willing to do whatever it took to keep things that way.

Bilal said the breathing techniques helped him and he enjoyed watching his kids play around, and so the pair made up. Shaeeda gave Bilal a hug and kiss and seemed happy with her success in changing the vibe.

"I love Shaeeda very much, but love isn't blind. I don't love to the point where I lose my head. Even though we make up, we argue very much. Right now, we are not ready to walk down that aisle," Bilal said.

Bilal's ex-wife Shahidah then went over Bilal's house to have a conversation with Shaeeda, who wanted to develop a close relationship with Bilal's ex since she's the mother of his children.

Shahidah said she just wanted the best for her children, and Shaeeda could tell Bilal's ex had entered the house with an attitude and "something was wrong."

Shaeeda promised Bilal's ex-wife that she had nothing to worry about and she wanted to develop a good relationship with Bilal's kids, but then Shahidah brought up the prenuptial agreement in order to protect her kids' assets.

"I need to know you're here not just for what [Bilal] has," Shahidah said.

Shaeeda insisted that she had a nice life in Trinidad and wasn't using Bilal for his money or lifestyle. Shaeeda said she definitely needed to have a conversation with Bilal about the prenup, and Shahidah could tell that she ruffled Shaeeda's feathers a little bit.

However, Shahidah was trying to take care of her kids, and so she acknowledged how the conversation was not fun and games for her.

Shaeeda wondered where the "hostility" was coming from, and she suddenly realized the prenup was big business. Shaeeda claimed to be an accomplished woman in Trinidad and so Shahidah was talking to the wrong person.
