Angela, a 53-year-old nursing assistant from Hazlehurst, GA, and Michael, a 31-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, have previously appeared on 90 Day Fiance, 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, and 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Angela and Michael met online and talked for a few months before Angela decided to travel to Nigeria in order to meet Michael in person and determine whether they'd be good life partners.

Angela's friends and family warned the hospice caregiver that Michael might be trying to scam her, but Angela ignored all the skeptics and followed her heart.

However, Angela didn't trust Michael deep down inside, especially when it came to him being around other women. The couple's relationship therefore became a rollercoaster of fights and resolutions for years.

90 Day Fiance's seventh season featured Angela and Michael working to get Michael's K-1 visa approved so he could finally join her in America.

Michael's K-1 visa was unfortunately denied following his visa interview, and Angela came to the conclusion it was probably because their romance wasn't convincing given their age difference and unmarried status.

Michael therefore suggested to Angela they get married in Nigeria and apply for a K-3 spousal visa, but Angela had been vehemently against the idea of having her wedding in a foreign country since her mother, daughters and grandchildren wouldn't be able to attend.

However, Angela eventually came around to the idea, as a backup option for the K-1 visa that was processing at the time.

"If I hear anything about the K-1 visa, Michael will come to the U.S. and we'll have our 90 days and have a wedding here," Angela said on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

"But if the K-1 visa doesn't come through, I'm going to be marrying Michael in Nigeria because I love him and want to do whatever will get Michael over here in the quickest way possible."

But that wasn't the only obstacle Angela and Michael had to overcome in order to be together.

Michael desperately wants a biological child -- and so does his mother, Aduke, for him -- but Angela was told giving birth would be a serious risk to her health and she had no eggs.

Once Angela traveled to Nigeria again and began planning their wedding, she asked Michael to stay with her and stick by her even though she might not be able to get pregnant.

Michael was upset about the idea of potentially not becoming a father, but he chose love over fatherhood and assured Angela they'd stay together against all odds.

"I've gone way beyond for love, and it's time for Michael to sacrifice for me -- and one of those sacrifices might be making his mom mad... [but] she'll get over it," Angela said.

But that doesn't mean the couple stopped fighting. Angela seemed to spark a fight every day, and one of the fights happened after Michael suggested Angela should move to Nigeria long-term.

Michael also told his aunt Lydia in conversation that Angela would be submissive in their marriage and take on the duties of a traditional Nigerian wife. Angela flipped out, saying Michael had either lied to her or his family because she was never going to bow down to a man.

"F-ck this sh-t!" Angela yelled. "I'm done. It's done. You ain't done nothing but lie to her and to me. You lie to me all the damn time!"

Michael realized he might have to choose between his family and his future wife, and he told the cameras he just wanted both sides "to be happy."

Angela threatened to call off the wedding and say "I won't" instead of "I do," but Michael promised her it was all a misunderstanding and he anticipated their marriage would be 50/50.

Angela wasn't convinced Michael was telling the truth, however, until Aduke confirmed Michael's idea of marriage was synonymous with Angela's outlook on a partnership.

Aduke gave the couple her blessing to wed even if it meant Angela wouldn't put food on the table for her husband or be able to carry a child. Aduke apparently believed Michael was in love and was happy, so she supported the couple through it all.

At this point, Angela and Michael had yet to hear back from their K-1 visa paperwork, so Angela exclaimed her wedding in Nigeria was on.

Angela was then shown meeting with a florist and finding ways to represent her family in the ceremony. Angela was devastated her daughters, grandchildren and mother Glenda Faye Standridge -- who wasn't doing well at the time -- wouldn't be able to attend her wedding.

A couple of days before the wedding, Angela and Michael picked up her friend JoJo at the airport, and Angela warned Michael that JoJo is protective of her and she valued what Jojo was going to think of Michael once the pair finally met.

JoJo wanted to find out whether Michael would be a good role model for Angela's grandchildren and only had the best of intentions for getting married and trying to move to the United States.

Since Angela and Michael had pre-existing trust issues, the couple decided to have a joint bachelor and bachelorette party at a club.

Angela was immediately pissed off when she saw half-naked women dancing around. She didn't understand why Michael had brought her to a club like that, but she decided to just relax and trust Michael would keep his eyes only on her.

Angela and Michael had fun and danced, but at one point, Michael turned around and watched a girl dancing up on a podium, which left Angela "furious."

Angela immediately stormed out of the club and yelled "f-ck you" at Michael. Michael chased Angela down, but she screamed at him to "go look at some more cheeks and ass."

Michael said he wasn't looking at or checking out other women, and he didn't think it was fair for Angela to be so upset with him.

"I love him but I cannot do it," Angela vented to JoJo.

"Angela said she is not going to get married to me now. I am worried," Michael subsequently admitted to the cameras.

Once again, Angela told Michael that she was "done" with him, and she ended up going a full night without talking to her fiance.

Angela confessed she had said some nasty things she didn't mean because the couple had been drinking. She just hoped she could trust Michael 100 percent, especially since it would probably take time for the spousal visa to come through.

Angela told Michael that she wanted him to show respect and loyalty through his actions and not just his words, and Michael agreed to try harder to make her happy and become a better man.

"Even through the ups and downs, it's been a beautiful journey that me and Michael have been on. I always imagined Michael being at the end of the aisle," Angela said, adding that she would be willing to do whatever it takes to get Michael over to America.

Angela later woke up on her wedding day feeling very nervous and "scattered," while Michael said he was feeling "happy and excited" about getting married.

Michael promised Angela they could have a second wedding once he moved to the United States to be with her, but Angela was concerned about her mother being sick and potentially passing away before then.

Angela said it was "bittersweet" to marry Michael without her relatives in attendance, and a part of her feared they'd still be denied a spousal visa after the wedding.

"This could all be for nothing," Angela said. "I'm scared to death. What the f-ck?!"

Marrying in Nigeria was not how Angela had envisioned things, so she suddenly sat down and appeared to have an anxiety attack. Angela referred to herself as "a hot mess," but JoJo was right by Angela's side as she had her hair done by a professional stylist.

Angela admitted she wasn't happy and her nerves were shot. She said, "I don't know if I can do this because I'm concerned I might be making a huge mistake with Michael in Nigeria because the risks are he might not be able to come to the States."

Angela said just because she was getting married in Nigeria, it didn't mean Michael would be approved for a spousal visa. Angela feared her concerns and doubts on her wedding day were a sign she shouldn't be marrying Michael that day.

"Is this normal for a bride? I don't know," Angela asked the cameras.

The latest 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? episode concluded with Angela dressed in her wedding gown, with her hair pulled up into a high bun wrapped in a crown.

Angela said her head was spinning before walking down the aisle, and she wondered if Michael would even adjust to and be happy with a life in America.

So did Angela really call off the wedding right before it commenced or did she and Michael tie the knot -- and is the 90 Day Fiance couple still together now?

Not only are Angela and Michael still together, but they are an official married couple!

Angela and Michael got married on January 27, 2020 in Nigeria, according to wedding photos that leaked online.

A pair of crew members were visible in the photos holding boom microphones over Angela and Michael as they exchanged vows, so the wedding will air on TLC this season.

But unfortunately for Angela, her beloved mother passed away at age 77 on February 8 in a hospital in Jacksonville, FL, less than two weeks after Angela's wedding.

It's unclear whether Angela was able to return to America and reunite with her mother prior to Glenda's passing.

On May 10, Angela posted a sweet tribute to her mother on Instagram and wrote, "Mother, I need you so much, I wish you were here. However, it comforts me to know that I did everything I could for you."

"Happy Mother's Day to you in heaven. Also want to wish my Mother in law (Iya bieu) Happy mother's day.. we love you. To all mothers out there!! Happy Mother's day."

Michael denied he's with Angela just to get a Green Card in the United States during a late June interview with In Touch Weekly, suggesting they are still together and fighting for their love.

A fan commented on a throwback video posted to the couple's shared Instagram account, "Oh my god. Michael all this sh-t for a green card. Oh lord, this is torture."

Shortly afterward, Michael clapped back.

"Dude. What's your problem? This is Michael," he wrote, according to In Touch.

"Is there something you [are] looking for or someone who hurt you? Why the hate? Please unfollow us OK, if you don't like what you see [shaking my head]. One more silly comment from you, I'll block [your] ass [I don't care]."

Angela admitted during a June 2020 interview with Entertainment Tonight there is a tiny part of her that worries Michael is just after a Green Card, but she apparently manages to talk herself out of that doubt.

"Me being an American, maybe five percent or two percent when we fight thinks, 'Is it that?' But when I get my senses back, I really feel like in my heart that it ain't," Angela shared.

"Now, we won't really know now, will we? Because, you know, I've always thought in past relationships, you know, this is going to work... All I can tell them is to keep watching and if they're right, they're right. If they're wrong, they're wrong. I'm gonna stick by my man and I'm gonna fight for him and that's it."

"If I really thought he was scamming me, my ass wouldn't be going back over there. But he does have a lot to learn because he's young and he's from Nigeria. But I'm really sweet to him at certain times," she added.

Angela said Michael must be in love with her to go through what they've gone through together.

"Getting rid of him is not easy," Angela joked. "Because that's real love, you know? Let's face it, being on the show four times, he could've moved on a while back. I've learned that he really truly does love me."

In addition, Angela and Michael often post sweet things about each other on their shared Instagram account, showing they are still an item.

In early September, Angela posted a TLC photo of Michael and herself on Instagram and captioned it with multiple emoticons, including a blowing-kiss face.

Fellow 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? star Syngin Colchester commented on the picture, "Sexyyyy picture I cant wait to meet Michael."

And Angela replied, "@syngin_colchester awwww he can't wait to meet you," suggesting Michael still plans on moving to the United States as soon as possible.

In mid-July 2020, Angela posted a video of Michael dancing and captioned it, "My sexy nigerian," along with emoticons of a smiling face with three hearts as well as the blowing-kiss face.

And in the comments section, Angela put five fire emojis with two upside-down smiling faces.

In early July, Angela and Michael captioned a selfie, "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough. Love my. Happy New Month everyone. #staysafe #teamangelamichael #happyeverafter."

The post was captioned, "Goofing with my [heart]. #tb #naijamusic #Teamangelamichael."

On May 5, the couple posted alongside a different photo of themselves, "Things work out Best for Those who make the Best of how things work out. #staypositive #allwillbewell #teamangelamichael."

And back on April 18, the pair wrote, "You don't care about materialistic things or how much your partner has to offer. All you know is that you love them unconditionally and you vow to give them your heart. #letlovelead #90dayfiance #stayhealthy #staysafe."

Two days earlier, Angela commented about "how time flies" given a whole two years had passed since she flew to Nigeria for the first time to meet Michael in person.

Angela and Michael appear to be living happily ever after, after all!
