90 Day Fiance couple Paola Mayfield and Russ Mayfield have moved into a new house in Florida together -- but they have even bigger plans for their family.

Paola said she "recently bought land" on which she's building her "dream house," but in the meantime, she and Russ have moved into a different house in Orlando, FL for a "fresh start" after their brief split in 2021, according to In Touch Weekly.

"I saw [the land] and I just wanted to invest in it... I purchased it myself with my money. I feel like it's a project that I've wanted to do for so long, and [Russ] is supporting me 100 percent," Paola, 35, shared.

"When you have a project, you don't always have to do it with your own spouse. You have your own goals and you have your own things... But my husband wants to be a part of it. So I bought this land and want to build a house, but it takes a lot of time to do that."

Paola -- who is busy with fitness, parenting, wrestling and sewing -- admitted her dream house "isn't going to be ready any time soon" but she needed "more space" for her family.

"So we decided, 'Let's just get another house and live there while we build our dream house... I have an idea of how I want it," Paola said.

"We moved from Miami to Orlando. We needed a change from the environment. We saw so many places, and I was done. I was like, 'Okay, I don't want to look more. We can get this one,' but it was just okay. And then I saw the last one, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is it!'"

Paola and Russ' new home has four bedrooms, an office, a dining room, and a "huge living room." She called the place "amazing" and has already decorated her son Axel's room.

"It's the perfect place to actually kind of start again," Paola noted, gushing about how the house also has a pool and Jacuzzi.

"This feels good! This is going to help [my marriage]. This is definitely going to help."

Paola and Russ previously lived in an RV for nearly two years, and the tense living situation contributed to their brief split last year.

During a July 2022 episode of 90 Day Diaries, which filmed in 2021, Paola was shown complaining about the RV life, especially because Russ had accepted a remote job without her blessing.

Paola felt helpless because she couldn't travel as much as she wanted to, and so they agreed to meet with a marriage counselor.

Russ wanted to continue fighting for the marriage because of their son, but Paola admitted, "I'm not sure if I love him still."

Paola, however, agreed to "try," even though she wasn't sure this was the right thing for her to do.

Paola's manager Dominique Enchinton, owner of Dominion Talent House, told In Touch Weekly in an August 2021 statement that Russ and his Colombian wife had reached a breaking point in their relationship.

"During this pandemic, it's hit everyone very hard, especially couples who have had to stay indoors with each other 24/7," Dominique explained to the magazine.

"Russ has lost his job during the pandemic, so Paola was the sole breadwinner for the past year. With all of that, it's definitely taken a toll on both of them being in each other's faces, so they are going to be taking a break for a little bit."

But Paola and the Oklahoma native confirmed they were not "getting a divorce yet," according to Paola's representative, and were "still together."

"They are just taking a break and going to therapy to work through the issues," Dominique explained.

Dominique assured fans there was "no animosity" between the couple and they still loved each other "very much" and had "nothing bad to say about one another."

Dominique also pointed out how Paola wasn't after a green card considering she had obtained her green card already five years prior.

And then in March 2022, Paola revealed that she and Russ were "working things out" in an interview with Us Weekly.

The Colombian personal trainer and wrestler said of her partner for almost nine years, "We have been going through really rough times. And I don't know [what will happen]. We're trying to make it work, but I don't know what's going to happen."

Paola and Russ were back living together after undergoing couples therapy on Zoom.

Paola also said earlier this year that she'd like to give Axel, who turns four in January 2023, a brother or sister.

"I do want more kids but maybe an adoption," the former reality star told the magazine. "That's my biggest goal: to adopt this year or next year. But, yes, I'm planning on [more babies] -- but not directly from me."

Paola confirmed she and her husband were "talking about" the adoption process and doing some research.

Russ was a 27-year-old from Owasso, OK, and Paola was a 26-year-old living in Bucaramanga, Colombia when she came to America on a K-1 visa.

The pair had met while Russ was in Columbia on a work assignment for a petroleum company.

The pair got married in October 2013 and settled in Oklahoma together.

Russ and Paola, however, later relocated to Miami, FL, so that Paola could pursue modeling and personal training. Paola also felt her personality and style fit in better with the culture in Miami, which has a large Latino community.

In January 2019, the couple welcomed their first child, Axel, into the world.

After initially appearing on Season 1 of 90 Day Fiance, Russ and Paola returned to TLC the first four seasons of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.
