VH1 to debut new 'I Want to Work for Diddy' reality series on August 4

VH1 has announced I Want to Work for Diddy, a new The Apprentice-like reality series with Sean "Diddy" Combs playing the Donald Trump role, will premiere Monday, August 4 at 9PM ET/PT.

I Want to Work for Diddy will begin with 13 finalists competing in a series of physical and mental challenges, many of which are based on the real life experiences of Diddy's previous assistants.

In addition to having to impress Diddy, the finalists will also be critiqued by the show's judging panel -- Warner Music Group executive Kevin Liles; Bad Boy marketing executive and former Diddy assistant Capricorn; and Diddy's "ultimate henchman," Phil Robinson.

I Want to Work for Diddy's winner will receive the grand prize of working as Diddy's assistant.

VH1 began developing I Want to Work for Diddy in January.

In addition to I Want to Work for Diddy, VH1 also announced New York Goes to Hollywood -- a spin-off of the network's I Love New York reality dating series -- and Luke's Parental Advisory will also both premiere on August 4.

I Want to Work for Diddy will serve as the lead-in for New York Goes to Hollywood, which will air in the Mondays at 10PM ET/PT timeslot; while Luke's Parental Advisory will air Mondays at 10:30PM ET/PT.
