Vanessa Lachey -- 6 things to know about the 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 10/09/2017

Vanessa Lachey has emerged as an early frontrunner on Season 25 of Dancing with the Stars on ABC.

Vanessa is a 36-year-old TV personality, model, actress and former beauty queen, who is married to fellow Dancing with the Stars contestant Nick Lachey.

To make the competition extra interesting, Vanessa is paired with pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Season 25, while Nick is partnered with Maksim's wife Peta Murgatroyd. It's a battle of the couples!

So far, Vanessa is coming out ahead, as she has managed to top the judges' leaderboard already with Maksim. But Nick isn't even close to giving up, and he's improving week to week.

Despite rumors of tension with Maksim -- who missed their "guilty pleasure" performance last week -- Vanessa is looking forward to the next Dancing with the Stars show!

Below is a list of 6 facts Reality TV World has compiled about Vanessa Lachey:
