U.K. 'Big Brother' contestant facing deportation over participation

A contestant on British TV's "Big Brother" could be deported because she left her job to appear on the reality show.

Makosi Musambasi, 24, of Zimbabwe, came to Britain on a visa allowing her to work as a cardiac nurse, the Telegraph reported Wednesday.

She was stopped by police near her home in High Wycombe, Bucks, Tuesday for not wearing a seatbelt and was turned over to immigration authorities.

After being interviewed, she was ordered to return to Africa because of "visa irregularities," the Telegraph said.

Musambasi has 10 days to appeal her deportation.
