Jeff Conaway has been hospitalized in Los Angeles after falling down stairs and breaking his hip and arm, and fracturing his neck, his girlfriend told TMZ.
Conaway, 59, is best known for his work in the 1978 movie musical "Grease" and on the sit-com "Taxi," which ran from 1978-83. The actor, who has long battled an addiction to drugs, recently appeared on the first two seasons of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" reality series.
His girlfriend, Vikki Lizzi, told TMZ the actor also suffered a brain hemorrhage in Monday's mishap.
Conaway was expected to have surgery to repair the damage to his hip, but his condition was not reported.
