'Trading Spaces' taking applications for new carpenter

Are you a carpenter looking for a new gig? Interested in travelling around the country? Are you comfortable appearing on television? Interested in hanging out with Paige Davis and the rest of the Trading Spaces crew? If so, TLC might have the perfect job for you -- they're conducting a nationwide search for a new carpenter to join the crew of their hit home remodeling series.

Interested parties must be real carpenters -- weekend warriors and wannabe actors need not bother applying. Carpenters can obtain a copy of the mail-in application by clicking here. The application requires that applicants submit a resume detailing their work history, a recent snapshot of themselves, and a three-minute video in which they explain a simple carpentry project such as building a custom entertainment center.
