"WWE has suspended Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) for 30 days effective immediately for her first violation of the company's talent wellness policy," the company said in a statement Thursday.

The WWE Superstar has yet to comment on the matter and no information regarding what could have led to the suspension has been released, however, the 31-year-old's husband Jonathan Coyle defended his wife on Twitter calling the suspension unjust.

"When the public finds out why my wife was unjustly suspended they will be absolutely outraged! Official statement and facts coming soon," he wrote.

The 30-day suspension will leave Eva Marie unable to compete at SummerSlam in a previously scheduled match that would have seen the "Total Divas" star take on Becky Lynch, Naomi and Carmella alongside Alexa Bliss and Natalya.

According to E! News, the match will now be a three-on-two handicap match.

In recent weeks, Eva Marie has been running with an angle on "Smackdown Live!" in which she keeps delaying her debut match on the blue brand due to a list of excuses including a tweaked hamstring, a wardrobe malfunction and getting stuck in traffic.

On Tuesday, Eva Marie left Naomi in the ring without a competitor and later tweeted, "I'm sorry to all my fans at #SDLive. Traffic in Austin is HORRIBLE!!!! Must be the weather...!? all red (lights) everything," a reference to her All Red Everything catchphrase.

Eva Marie is the third Superstar to be suspended in August following Paige and Alberto Del Rio's Wednesday dismissals for their first violation of the company's talent wellness policy.

Notably, Roman Reigns was also suspended in June for 30 days.

According to WWE, the talent wellness program is used to address the health and well-being of its talent and is "administered independently by world renowned medical professionals and includes cardiovascular testing, ImPACTT, testing for brain function, substance abuse and drug testing, annual physicals, and health care referrals."

SummerSlam is set to take place on Aug. 21.
