Jeremy from Miami, FL, beat out 16 chefs from across the country to win the coveted title of "Top Chef."

After an epic showdown in Las Vegas, NV, 30-year-old Jeremy defeated runner-up Amar Santana from Orange County, CA, who was the "Last Chance Kitchen" winner.

Jeremy received a feature in Food & Wine magazine, a showcase at the annual Food & Wine classic in Aspen, and $125,000.

"The final two chefs are extremely talented and cooked their hearts out," head judge Tom Colicchio said in a statement.

"In the end, Jeremy pulled through with the stronger meal. He showed a ton of talent throughout the season and we couldn't be happier to name him this season's Top Chef."

The Top 2 chefs were each required to make a spectacular meal with help from their culinary mentors Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Charlie Palmer, as well as previously-eliminated contestants.

Jeremy and Amar tried their best to impress a room full of judges and important diners -- including Emeril Lagasse, Dominique Crenn, Jonathan Benno, and Hubert Keller.
