TLC to debut 'Ace of Cakes'-like 'Cake Boss' reality series on May 25

TLC has announced it will premiere Cake Boss, a new reality series starring master baker and cake artist Buddy Valastro, on Monday, May 25 at 10PM ET/PT.

Cake Boss will follow Valastro, a fourth generation baker and the manager of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, NJ, and his large Italian family as they run the 10,000-square-foot bakery, which specializes in novelty and special occasion cakes.

TLC had ordered the Ace of Cakes-like reality series in March and aired a special preview of the show on Sunday, April 19.

The May 25 broadcast will follow the one-hour fifth-season premiere of TLC's top-rated Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality series, which will air at 9PM ET/PT. Cake Boss is being produced by High Noon Entertainment.
