Tila Tequila and her selected suitor Bobby Banhart are apparently still at odds over which one of them was responsible for ending their A Shot at Love relationship.

"We couldn't see each other for two months after [the finale], and we only talked on the phone," Tequila told Extra during Friday night's broadcast of the syndicated entertainment news program.

"Just naturally, people kind of move on with their lives. We tried our best to keep in touch and keep it going, but after a while, all of this camera stuff, he just couldn't handle it.  He called me a few days before New Year's and broke it off."

Those comments fly in the face of what Banhart wrote December 30 on his personal MySpace blog, claiming Tequila was the one who chose to "end" their relationship.  He didn't back off those comments even after Tequila claimed he was the one responsible for the split.

"As far as I'm concerned, if that's what she needs to tell herself to make herself feel better, than that's on her," he told Extra during Monday night's broadcast.  "Basically our phone conversation ended with a, 'Good luck in all that you do.'"

However given Banhart has since contradicted his original blog post claim that Tequila "never called me after the last show and no one would give me her number," perhaps his remaining claims need to be taken with a grain of salt.

Banhart told realityblurred.com in a recent interview they "really didn't talk that much" but added they did chat three or four times after the show concluded its six-week taping in mid-September.

"Did I break up with her? Not really. She was just too busy," he told realityblurred.com.  "I'm the type of person who wants to be able to talk to them and see them... I talked to her two days before New Year's, and we talked on the phone a little bit. I just didn't see myself in any of the plans she had."

As for his MySpace blog, it has since been removed.

"I took the blog the down for other reasons, for contract reasons I can't even comment on," he told the website.  "The things I say and the things I wrote were pretty much for a reason, and that's all I can say as far as that goes."

Following Tequila's announcement during MTV's live broadcast of Tila Tequila's New Year's Eve Masquerade  that she and Banhart were no longer together, she revealed MTV was bringing A Shot at Love back for a second season.

"I'm still looking for love," Tequila told Extra, adding her pool of suitors will once again consist of gay women and straight men.  "I don't want to go to clubs all the time, so we're gonna do it all over again."
