NBC has announced superstar Camila Cabello will join returning coaches John Legend and Blake Shelton on The Voice's upcoming 22nd season, which is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2022.

In addition, Blake's wife and former coach Gwen Stefani will be returning to sit in one of the big red chairs.

"See you this fall! #TheVoice," Camila, 25, captioned an Instagram video on Sunday featuring herself leading the three other coaches in song.

The 52-year-old former No Doubt frontwoman had already announced her own The Voice participation two days earlier on Friday.

Gwen took to TikTok late last week and posted a video of herself singing along to "Grace Kelly" by Mika alongside Blake and John.

"#Duet this if you're going to be a Coach on #TheVoice this fall," Gwen captioned the clip.

Gwen first joined The Voice as a coach for Season 7 back in 2014, and then she continued either an advisor or coaching role in several subsequent seasons.

John joined The Voice back on Season 16, and Blake has served as a mainstay coach on the show since Season 1 debuted all the way back in 2011.

Camila originally found fame on The X Factor's second season in 2012, when producers formed a girl group called Fifth Harmony comprised of five girls who had auditioned as soloists, including Camila.

The X Factor executive producer and judge Simon Cowell decided to make them into a band for the "Group" category at the time, and Fifth Harmony finished the season in third place.

After being a member of the singing group for several years, Camila chose to leave Fifth Harmony in December 2016. Fifth Harmony considered their fans the fifth member of the band following Camila's unexpected and "hurtful" exit.

Camila went on to have an explosive solo career with hits such as "Havana" and "Never Be the Same."

The Voice's next season will air on Monday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT and on Tuesday nights from 8-9PM ET/PT this fall.

NBC unveiled The Voice coaches for Season 22 as part of its Fall 2022 schedule announcement.

The Voice aired its previous season in Fall 2021, with pop singer Ariana Grande replacing Nick Jonas as a coach.

The Fall 2021 edition of the reality singing competition also starred Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton as coaches.

The Voice crowned a trio of siblings from Pettisville, OH called Girl Named Tom its Season 21 champions when the finale aired in December.

NBC announced in May 2021 that The Voice will be cutting back and airing only one season per year in the future. NBC therefore did not air a The Voice season this spring.

NBC executive Frances Berwick told Deadline last year that producers want to prevent The Voice format from getting stale.

"We want to eventize this iconic series," Frances explained at the time.

"We think The Voice will be on NBC for a very long time to come and we believe the best way to protect the brand, while also superserving fans is to produce one amazing cycle this year."

NBC's decision came after The Voice's Season 20 ratings dropped more than 25 percent in Adults 18-49 and about 12 percent in total viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
