FOX has announced that "celebutante" Paris Hilton, one of the two stars of the network's upcoming fish-out-of-water "The Simple Life" reality series, will make her television acting debut when she guest stars on the season premiere episode of "That 70's Show" Tuesday, Oct. 29 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Hilton is scheduled to start production on the hit comedy series July 31.
The season picks up with Jackie, whose spent the summer trying to decide who she should be with: Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) or Hyde (Danny Masterson). But when she discovers the guys haven't waited around for her and have been seeing new girls, things get awkward --especially when Hyde's date, Raquel (portrayed by Hilton), shows up.
Along with her friend Nicole Richie, Hilton will star in this fall's "The Simple Life" which chronicles the adventures of the two affluent socialites as they make the transition from uptown to small town.
An established model, Hilton has posed for such publications as GQ, Vanity Fair and FHM. She has also actively contributed in numerous fashion circles, often collaborating with top designers at their shows. Some of these designers and labels include Tommy Hilfiger, Joey and T, Heatherette, Richard Tyler and Jeremy Scott. Hilton is currently focusing on an acting career. In 2001, she made a cameo appearance in Ben Stiller's film "Zoolander." Her additional film credits include roles in "Raising Helen" and "Nine Lives." She will also appear in the upcoming features "Wonderland" with Val Kilmer and "The Cat in the Hat" with Mike Myers. She recently wrapped production on the film "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton," with Kate Bosworth and Topher Grace.
"That 70's Show" is a Carsey-Werner-Mandabach production. Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner and Mark Brazill are creators/executive producers and Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner, Caryn Mandabach, Jeff Filgo and Jackie Filgo are executive producers.
