The Celebrity Apprentice star Donald Trump fired actress Keshia Knight Pulliam during Sunday night's premiere broadcast of the NBC reality competition's seventh season.

Trump fired Keshia, who's best known for her role as a child star on The Cosby Show, after she served as the project manager and her all-female Infinity team lost the season's first task, which required them to create and sell two types of pies -- a savory one and a sweet one -- for the public at a Pie Face location. The team to simply raise the most money would win the task.

The men's team, dubbed Vortex, was led by project manager Geraldo Rivera, a journalist and talk show host. Vortex raised significantly more money than Infinity. They managed to make a whopping $185,322 compared to Infinity's $93,862. Geraldo's charity Life's Work, which helps house the developmentally disabled, will receive the winnings.

Infinity's total also included a $25,000 bonus they had received for impressing Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro with their flavorful pies. Without the bonus, the women's team only raised $68,412 themselves.

Once in the boardroom, Ivanka Trump and Piers Morgan served as advisors.

Keshia chose to take former Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin and gold medal Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson into the boardroom with her after both teams discussed their successes, failures and whom might be responsible for both.

As the project manager, Keshia pointed out that Kate had raised absolutely no money and Jamie wasn't far from it.

Keshia, however, chose to lead the task without having any high-rollers or wealthy celebrities to give her checks -- much unlike Geraldo. Trump was disappointed she never attempted to contact the famous Bill Cosby, and she raised only about $8,000 herself. Kate also said Keshia didn't delegate roles wisely or efficiently.

It was clear the task fell on Keshia's shoulders, but the actress argued that she took a big risk to prove her abilities and worked extremely hard in the task, giving it her whole heart. Trump complimented Keshia in numerous ways and then offered her charity Kamp Kizzy $25,000 from his own pocket.
