However, unlike The Biggest Loser's last season -- which aired in one-hour episodes on Tuesday nights at 8PM ET/PT -- the new season will air in a new time period of Thursday nights from 8-9PM ET/PT.

In addition to The Biggest Loser, NBC also announced that America Ninja Warrior, America's Got Talent, The Celebrity Apprentice, and The Voice have been renewed for the 2014-2015 season.

NBC did not reveal who will serve as The Biggest Loser's sixteenth-season trainers, however, Jillian Michaels reportedly wants to quit the show for a third time.

In early April, People reported Michaels, 40, wants to leave the show after Rachel Frederickson, 24, was crowned last season's winner.

"She is deeply concerned about the direction the show has been taking," a source told the magazine, referencing how Frederickson had dropped down to a shocking 105 pounds for The Biggest Loser's fifteenth-season finale.
