The Bachelorette has released its first fun promo for Season 19, giving Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey equal billing in a Mean Girls-inspired scene.

The Bachelorette paid homage to the classic movie Mean Girls in its first teaser for the upcoming Summer 2022 season.

The promo begins with Gabby, 31, and Rachel, 26, wheeling their red luggage towards a cute red convertible while wearing different styles of the same red and white, rose-petal printed dress.

Rachel, rocking a tight and low cut dress with puffy sleeves, hops into the driver's seat first and playfully says, "Get in loser, we're going shopping!"

The pilot was quoting "The Plastics" queen bee Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams, in Mean Girls.

Gabby, wearing a strapless fit-and-flare dress with a black belt around her waist, then opens the passenger seat door and clarifies with a big smile how they were going shopping "for a husband!"

Gabby also gets to take a turn in the driver's seat, showing that neither girl is above the other this season.

The trailer proceeds to tease in text, "TWO BEST FRIENDS. ONE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY. THIS SEASON, IT'S PETAL TO THE METAL."

The promo concludes with a messy red "S" being added to the end of The Bachelorette title in its logo, which gave a nod to the fact there are two stars or dual leads of Season 19.

The Bachelorette is set to premiere its new season on Monday, July 11 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

The initial The Bachelorette cast for Season 19 comprised of 35 potential suitors was announced in late March, right around the time Gabby and Rachel began filming their season.

The official cast, typically consisting of 30 bachelors, has yet to be revealed.

When Gabby and Rachel appeared on Good Morning America in March, they were asked about the show's format, which has yet to be described by the network.

"Everyone keeps asking," Gabby said on GMA.

"We just got thrown in. But I have faith and a lot of trust and I love Rachel to death and I know we're gonna have each other's backs the whole way, so there's really not a doubt in my mind that it's gonna end up well."

The Bachelorette's new season will be hosted by Jesse Palmer, who also hosted The Bachelor's 26th edition and will be hosting Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season this summer.

Given Gabby and Rachel had a heartbreaking journey competing against each other on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor in which they had been strung along and dumped simultaneously, fans have voiced their dismay over the idea the women may be pitted against each other again.

Even former The Bachelorette co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe told E! News of Rachel and Gabby's joint casting in March, "I just want somebody to have their own season and I just don't want it to be them pitted against each other."

But around that time, The Bachelor creator and executive producer Mike Fleiss reassured viewers on Twitter that the casting shakeup does not mean Rachel and Gabby will be at odds.

He said it's "not true" the women will be competing for men.

And in early April, Mike posted a happy photo of Gabby and Rachel sitting in a restaurant booth together.

"See, no drama...Just two friends helping each other find true love! Exclusive international photo!!!" Mike tweeted.

The new The Bachelorette trailer further drives home the fact two "best friends" are looking for love and will be there for each other throughout their journey.

The last time The Bachelorette featured two stars in one season, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson were forced to face off against each other for the role.

The Bachelorette's Season 11 men were asked to vote for which woman they'd like to continue dating on Night 1, and Kaitlyn ended up winning the position over Britt, who was then immediately kicked off the show.
